You brought up your life story almost immediately! Reread this thread... Here's your post, which started all of this:
"Yeah, but you are an elitist asshole... Not everyone can afford Vanderbilt or even wants to go there. I was accepted there and I had the money, but I didn't want to be around elitist assholes like you. Actually it was more that Mississippi State offered me a scholarship and is number one in my former major, and Vandy didn't even offer my major. Yeah, I love people who judge someone solely on where they got their degree from. Troy State is no Harvard, but it certainly is not anything like ITT tech. It is a major Division I University with over 18k students and several campuses."
So TWO FVCKING sentences on WHY I didn't chose a top undergrad school is telling my life story? To me it seems more like a pre-emptive attack on one of you saying I went to UAB and Mississippi State because I couldn't get in anywhere else.
I would never say such a thing. Shows how your mind truly works though...
No, it just shows how people on Anandtech argue. If someone says they are going to X school, the immediate argument is that they couldn't get into Y school, and that is why they think the way they do. In reality there are numerous reasons why people choose certain schools. If someone chooses a school based solely on it's ranking they are a fool.
