Your school was brought up as comparison to Troy State. How does my degree have anything to do with Troy State? I had plenty high enough ACT and GPA to go to a top notch school and major in anything I wanted. I didn't like Broadcast Meteorology as much as I thought so I settled on something else. Again, why does my major matter so much? I can afford to major in that and be a Police Officer or the like and be ok with that. I'm happy with my place in society. I'm not insecure enough to think that a degree is going to make me revered in society. What you accomplish in life and how people remember you is a lot more important than where you went to school. That's the whole point of what I am saying. You don't have to have an MBA from Harvard for people to like or respect you.
But the point everyone else is trying to make and the point of this thread is to discuss the status of Troy State. We are not here to discuss your view on what it takes to succeed, your ACT scores, your major or how to earn respect.
