I don't see how wise and beautiful woman is any worse than lovely human. If the administration here wants to take a stance on what is allowed they're free to do so.

Personally, I don't care what people call me, but others certainly do.

And honestly, I don't know why AT allows these obvious and shitty troll threads to continue... gets really tedious.
 
My mom made me go to Sunday school and church until I was about 10 years old. Every Sunday, from the time I was about 6 I would hide in the crawl space or closet or garage to avoid going to church as I didn't believe any of it and wanted nothing to do with the place. There was one other atheist kid there, and we would just joke around and get in trouble any time both of us were there, but, he was able to defeat his mother on a pretty regular basis, and thus wasn't there a lot of the times.

Anyhow, I've never seriously considered myself a christian as far back as I can remember. Never had any belief in a god or afterlife. Just didn't ever make any sense to me.

My dad is pretty much a strong atheist, and my mom is no longer a religious person either. So they don't give me crap about it. I do get annoyed when my grandma goes off on a tangent about the lord this and that, but she's 80 so she can say whatever she damn well pleases.
 
It appears to me that the OP hasn't so much come to a well-reasoned decision as much as he's simply trying to rebel and indulge his own teenage angst.

Unfortunately, this happens a lot, and it gives the rest of us a bad image.

I have many well-reasoned theories on why I believe the way I do. But they aren't earth shattering and original. I believe that becoming atheist or agnostic is admitting you are ignorant and that there are many things we do not, and never will understand.

We could all sit here and argue till we are blue in the face. Thats not what this thread is about. This thread is about me feeling better, almost like taking a good poop. I just feel relieved.
