Perhaps you should actually read the report before posting it.
In the report, they cite two studies. One
associated 10.5% of COVID-19 cases were attributable to obesity. Another report attributed up to
29.5% of hospitalizations were due to being overweight or obese.
Taken together, factors other than obesity account for 70.5-89.5% of ALL COVID-19 cases (based on those two studies). While obesity is a risk factor, pretending it is the cure-all for COVID-19 is not consistent with science-at-large. Even if everyone in the US was not obese, extrapolating the best case scenario to deaths (which was not analyzed in the study, but let's assume it was), we would still have >381,000 deaths in the US due to COVID-19. If we use the 10.5% and remove cases of COVID-19 due to obesity, we would still have ~26.5 million cases of COVID-19.
Are you ever going to read that study? Better yet, are you going to clarify why you not believe the science behind social distancing and mask wearing? Can you please define how the vaccines have been rushed? You purposefully ignored those questions to your previous illogical statements in this thread.
