Going back to the original subject, the proper answer & revised question as clearly demonstrated in the U.S.:

No, absolutely no individual person should be allowed to own a gun. (Only military and special police response forces, and then only when on duty, should be allowed to possess a gun.)

I herd this story shortly after it happened. At that time the story was that he never drew his weapon, but pointed at it while arguing with a clerk.
Huh??? How would he be able to point the gun if he didn’t remove it from his holster?

I own a lot of guns and think everyone owning guns without basically any requirements is just a terrible fucking idea.

Nothing will happen because Republicans don't give a damn.

Any thoughts and prayers should be offered to the next family. Nothing can be done for this one. They are already dead. Someone in public office needs to standup and say just that.

Same person should also say of you continue to vote for Republicans who refuse to do nothing about guns you bear some responsibility with the shooter and other Republicans who refuse to act.

Greg Abbott has yet to make any kind of statement regarding the murders. I’m sure he’s desperately trying to read the tea leaves over how the base will react to a Mexican national killing Central American immigrants with a semiautomatic rifle. But he did tweet out a picture of his dog saying he was “all smiles for the weekend.”

Perp pointed at the gun in his waistband, but didn't brandish it.

Huh?! .... So, I guess this never happened?

Per posted article:

The employee said the dispute began when staff spotted Mr Gay packing his own meat at the closed counter.

He said Mr Gay became upset when told that he could not do that.

“Once he held the gun to my throat — pushed it into my throat — I decided to comply,” the employee told investigators.

Thats still brandishing. Even just revealing a weapon during an argument or with intent to intimidate/threaten is brandishing.

Related this country wonders why it's hard to get people to take service jobs. Customers are already shit here and who would want to deal with armed ones?

This is what Republicans are allowing to get worse. If you are voting for someone refusing to do anything about guns you are partly responsible. BTW - Would armed adults at the game made things better? Can you arm all soft targets?

As a friendly reminder most of these people shooting at or killing people for coming to the wrong house would almost certainly describe this as defensive gun use.

Makes you wonder what everyone else who says they are using their gun defensively are doing, huh.

Just playing along with your silly little word game.

Why did you bring it up to begin with?

Because of your preconceived notions, duh. Stereotypes are a real time saver.

My words were no game. I reserve the Daffy Duck dancing gif for games you play for obvious reasons tho. *shrug*
