WTF, it's even worse than the headline makes it sound.
"The man told SAPD that his son was reaching for something on the shelf and accidentally pulled down a gun."
Loaded gun on a shelf in the reach of a two year old.
But he needed the gun to keep his family safe. It had to be loaded and in the open because a bad guy could come to the door at any time and there would be no time to retrieve and load it. You can ask any conservative here there's a border war going on with illegal immigrants throwing fentanyl at law abiding homeowners. So it's really Biden's fault and not the gun owner and definitely not the gun. /s

Honestly and republicans are trying to "protect" children from hearing about gay people or seeing drag shows but doing nothing about this...doing nothing about not only something that actually kills kids but is the number one killer of children in this country (and no I'm not saying drag shows hurts kids. I'm just trying to point out the sheer hypocrisy of the GOP)

work fine for me.

Firefox Can’t Open This Page

To protect your security, imgur.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.
New Window doesn't work either.

Firefox says: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/xframe-neterror-page

If you see this error, it is probably because a website is trying to display another website without the consent of its owner. This is usually the result of a security misconfiguration.

Websites can use x-frame options or a content security policy to control whether other websites may embed them in their own pages. They are important security tools designed to prevent clickjacking, which is an attack that allows malicious sites to trick users into clicking their links.

To visit a site that has shown this message, you can open the link in a New Tab or New Window in Firefox. Note that in some cases, the embedding page will not work correctly without access to the blocked page. In this case, you will need to contact the owner of the broken site for troubleshooting.

the same nutters we see here are the first to complain that kids don't play outside anymore. well shit bruh, why would they want to get gunned down because their ball went over the fence and wanted to ask you for it back. fuck that noise.
I was a horrible respecter of peoples property when I was a kid. Fences are for climbing over, right? Yea, I wouldn't have lasted long, these days.

Cutting through people's yards, going into people's berry patches, ding-dong-ditching (like what recently got those teenagers killed by road rage from a pursuer).

We got into plenty of hijinks in my youth, but none of it was malicious or intentionally hurtful, and DEFINITELY none of it would have justified being shot over. These days, those same actions CAN get kids killed. It's pretty fucked up IMO what a dangerous country we've become.

Not sure if this guy who had previously stabbed his father a few years earlier already made the list.
I don't buy the 'incompetent to stand trial' bit. The guy had gone next door confronting the neighbor four times previously, seeking political affiliation arguments. That doesn't sound like a person who doesn't understand what he did, or the charges against him.

Who knows, maybe he thought he was, "doing God's work" like religious fundies do. Doesn't matter IMO. Charge him with murder.

I used to pick blackberries from Chief Justice Burger's property, without permission.
edit: brain fart. (originally had Chief Justice Warren, full name of Burger - Warren E. Burger)
