Your lack of empathy is disturbing. :\

Why is removing some unwanted cells something that needs so much empathy?

I am following exactly what liberals always say when they justify legal abortion. A fetus is nothing more than a clump of unwanted cells. Its basically the same as going to the doctor to get a wart removed.

Not exactly a fun time. But FAR FAR from "the hardest decision of their lives".

Go debate the morality/legality of abortion in another thread. This one is about buffer zones and first amendment rights, and was actually an enjoyable conversation before the usual threadcrapping.

Content / context is everything.

It means the difference between murder and self-defense. It means the difference between a drug addict and someone suffering from cancer.

If a mother was going to kill her 1 year old child the police, or anyone for that matter, could take whatever measures needed to protect the life of the child.

But yet people are supposed to stand to the side while women systemically kill their unborn children?

Utterly immaterial in view of the law and the Constitution.

How about the fact that the woman is chock full of hormones at that point?

Or the fact that although the fetus is a clump of cells it also has the potential for independent life?

You clearly know nothing of and care nothing about women.

Go fuck yourself if you think this is not an extremely difficult decision for any woman (who isn't a psychopath).

I'm done discussing this with you. You are clearly a very sad individual.

Where did I say it wasn't?

But it does seem you are implicitly saying that the abortion protesters have a valid point. By saying that killing the fetus is a hard choice you are saying that it has value and is more than "just a clump of cells".

Is it any wonder then that some people are so afraid of them?:hmm:

No, you're pulling up the same stupid straw man that you have used time and time again. No one is saying that a fetus is worthless, it just doesn't trump a woman's right to control her own body.

You two have anything else to say about the buffer zones, or are you just gonna continue to crap on this thread?

You're welcome to your opinion but the law disagrees with you and the law is what counts.

Where would you have stood on slavery?

Since you are so supportive of abortion because it is legal, I am going to guess you would have supported slavery.

Do you have any opinions of your own? Or do you just go by what the law says?

Should we be allowed to protect those who can not speak for themselves?

Of course I do; I'm just not interested in talking about it with you. I would be perfectly fine with increasing abortion rights across the board. Let's make the Abortionplex!

Can you talk to someone 35 feet away?

Can you protect a child that is about to be killed from 35 feet away?

Of course you do what? Have your own opinion?

Slavery was legal. Where would you have stood on that issue? Would you have been fine with killing blacks? Afte all it was legal. And your stance is on the side of the law. So whatever is legal is fine with you?

How would you have stood on the sterilization of children that California did for half a century? After all it was perfectly legal to sterilize less than desirable people with no due process of law. The supreme court even upheld forced sterilization.

Where do you stand on any issue where the victim can not speak for themselves?

How come pro-life people are some of the most sadistic, mean-spirited, vicious people around? These sick fucks have nothing better to do with their lives than harass young girls. Why do we as a society allow it? It isn't about freedom of speech, it is about harassing, bullying and terrifying people. That is the truth and EVERYBODY knows it.

I was there at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Abortionplex. It was grand. I'm hoping they install a smokestack that will give out a puff of light blue smoke every time they abort a male fetus and pink smoke for girls.

My neighbors are pro-life and some of the nicest people you could ever meet. People in general have the potential to be horrible, there is no one group that has a monopoly on that.

Slavery, the slaughter of native americans, forced sterilization, mormons, internment of japanese americans,,, all of which were legal and in some cases upheld by the supreme court.

Do you only base your opinion on what is legal or illegal?

If so, you are on the wrong side of history.

Are you refusing to have a serious discussion on which side of history you want to be on?

I'm perfectly comfortable with the side of history I'm on. I also know that from your posts in other threads that you're irrational and utterly immune to serious discussion. I would rather tell you about how a girl I used to date worked at Planned Parenthood. Abortions galore! SO MANY ABORTIONS.
