No, not in other words. Responding to you and MrSquished is not worth the electrons. Even when we agree on something it always comes back around to this:

" You voted for Trump twice so your words are empty lies or else you would have voted like me".
Except I never said that. Geez Skippy is lying reflexive for you? You know that is a definition of a liar.

BTW - What I did say is voting for Trump twice means you have shitty judgement.

I tell you, like I said before, it's the paranoia folks. The paranoia of people like THIS guy. Now you tell me, is this not the face of a paranoid old man? Ready to shoot anyone who dare ring his doorbell? And... why TF does he have a doorbell in the place?
I won't tell you what he did to the Avon lady. And the paperboy. And the meter reader. And the Jehovah's witnesses. Those poor poor Jehovah's witnesses.... Simply tragic.

I thought it was the federal government coming to take away my guns.

a couple Texas cheerleaders shot in a parking lot in Texas, again because of a mistake. Guy was arrested. So we have in a few days a young black kid shot for ringing the wrong doorbell, a white girl in NY State killed for turning around in a driveway with her friends, and now two cheerleaders, one in critical condition, for another innocent mistake. the only time the perps were arrested and held right away have a theme to them. Either way this is all insane, the gun fetishists are disgusting people, and I feel safer in NYC than in any fucking podunk state or shithole rural area.

And a supreme court that makes it more difficult for cities to limit guns....

That sounds like rage to me. The guy pursued them and initiated a confrontation.

It's almost like arming everybody without any training whatsoever and pumping them full of conservative media fear porn 24/7/365 has some undesirable consequences.

The only way this Congress will do anything on guns, too many white people being shot. Especially pretty blond ones. Notice how the country gets fixated when one goes missing.

The tv account I watched said the shooter is 85 years old. He opened the door, told the boy to go away or he'd shoot him, and then he shot him and after he fell down, he shot again. A site I read said the man shot before saying anything and then, after he fell, said “Don’t come around here.”
Dear god.
That's basically America in a nutshell. Some senile old thing that lost his mind YEARS ago can still hobble around with a deadly weapon. It'd be safer giving the gun to a four year old.

Anyway, there has been no reports of any kind that he was senile or had dementia.
Just because a person in America did not seek and or receive medical care and a diagnosis from a medical professional, does not mean they are healthy. Many of us avoid treatments for lack of access. And there is hardly any concept of mental wellness and dealing with such illness. People like that, without strong family support, would be left to rot. Isolated and alone they would slowly grow insane through lack of mobility by itself. For no other reason. It really is that easy, and probably more common than people think.

Remember what happens to prisoners in isolation cells. Now imagine an elder alone in their house for over a decade, with a horde of guns back from when they were still healthy.

While I agree with everything you say, it still does not give us any reason at all to think he has any mental problems. It is jumping to conclusions without any evidence.

Speaking of Petito, wonder what has happen with the boyfriend’s parents? Like pretty obvious they knew he killed her when he returned home without her and lied for the next 3 months.

The shooter says he was scared because a 6 foot black man was trying to open his front door.

Ralph Yarl's family says he is 5'8" 140 lbs. and didn't try to open the door.

Who do you believe?

No, it is not fair to say that, because you do not know that.
I think it is fair to say the person did not behave in a reasonable manner both legally and what most people would presume is reasonable. Having said that he probably did behave in reasonable manner according to a certain segment of american society; but hopefully the legal aspect will never change to support that segment.
