The only thing I could possibly want so far from any of the ads is the mini DV camcorder. Even then, its not that great (I'd rather get a Canon camcorder from Costco for $50 more). I am dissapointed so far🙁.
 
Anyone know anything about the 50" plasma at Best Buy for $1699? Sounds like a deal to me!

Thats a shame right there. I'd love to buy that but the closest BB thats near me is 80-100 miles away and then once I got there I don't know if I would even be able to get my hands on one. I hate black friday I really do. I don't have anything but a Wal-Mart, Kmart and Office Depot around me.

dont write Walmart off, they had a huge plasma for $997 last year on bf....I dont remember what size it was exactly, but it was pretty big.

keep an eye on walmart.

I agree and I think it's a great deal because:

No rebates
Core Solo not a Sempron or Celeron
512MB vs 256MB
DVD Burner vs combo CD-RW/DVD-ROM
 
Yea I just bought a similar laptop for $499. Here's a link.

[*]The screen is better than my old Dell 700m
[*]decent battery life and much better than those AMD models
[*]a/b/g/ wifi

It's a stellar internet and dvd movie notebook. I have been extremely pleased with it and have no regrets other than the fact a similar one is going to be $120 cheaper, lol. These notebooks are hard to pass up at this price. You get a lot of performance for very little cash.
 
On a different thread (now locked), someone mentioned that CC was going to have the Panasonic TH-50PX60U Plasma for 1,999.99. I can't seem to find this. Can anyone confirm?
 
Can I assume if I want a BB door buster, then I am going to have to be pretty close to the front of the line?

What time do the BB line ups typically start?
Assuming I am pretty close to the front, how do I ensure I get the HP laptop?

There is a minimum for each item. Assume the minimum and that everyone in front of you will be getting it. Last year we got there at 10:30 PM the night before and were like 6th in line. ( IN St. Louis, MO) They hand out a paper for DB's at around 4:30 am that holds your item so you don't have to worry about getting trampled while trying to get to what you want!
 
anyone spot any executive leather chairs for bf ads besides officemax? im looking to buy one soon, but the one at om has sloping arm rests which i dont like.

That DB lappy is over 6lbs which, given that it has the Intel onboard graphics and only a core solo, makes it very cold in my book.

should be upgradeable to a core duo. Core 2 duo may require a motherboard flash, but still not sure if it would work or not.

It is on sale right now at frys.com for $2,199.00 ships free. Warm at best but no line to fight.

Thanks how do I find out about the minimum number?

Can you secure more than one DB item (not the same item) if you are in line?
 
On the Best Buy ad it says how many minimum per store. Not sure about the rest. Yes, you can get as many DIFFERENT DB's as you want.
