The Democrats are Republican-Lite. What good are they for those needing some solutions? The Reagan Revolution remains in full effect until the Democrats are reformed. So if that means "burning it down", then yes it should be. In its' current form the Republicans control the Agenda regardless who is President, who controls the Senate, or who controls the House.

The Democrats need to grow a spine, embrace the Worker/Main Street, reject Wallstreet, and do so unapologetically.

I think at this point if you are still planning on voting for Biden, the best thing to do is just recognize that you are voting for a man that is credibly accused of sexual assault because you believe that the circumstances justify it. I disagree, but I at least accept it as a legitimate opinion. Insisting that Reade's allegations are fraudulent in the face of mounting evidence is just deluding yourself in a very, very ugly way.

Joe will get out of the way of Congress. We have some smart people able to make laws right now and if the dems can get a few Senate seats we may return to those mythical days when lawmakers actually worked together to better the country... remember that?


The president is not a dictator. He doesnt need to be perfect. He need to be a strong leader and willing to let the country run. Obama let Congress run the country for years. THAT is what made him a great president. He would urge congress to action. Even with all of that, Obama worsened partisanship because of the color if skin, which is obviously not his fault, just the reality of certain parts of America. I still think that he probably was one of the best Presisents this country has seen.


I say all this recognizing that the Republicans starting their obstructionist ways signaled the end to our functional government. I hope that maybe Trump was so bad, his net effect was to reduce partisan politcs.


Edit: our planet is at stake. The only important litmus test for a president is willingness to fight climate change. Biden isnt strongly "green" bit he'll get out of the way of progress.
