There's probably some 10 man guilds out there, but the most "vocal" part of raiding is the pugs or part pug part your guild. At best those are now occuring at a minimal rate. Now they may want heroics to be pug resistant without a higher than average gear level, but even the regulars are keeping fairly pug free with the current inherent difficulties I've mentioned.

On my (really, really bad) server, it's 25s which are dead. And *nobody* PuGs raids now, unless it's just for farming trash.

Also on a terrible server, just joined a guild starting up 2x 10 man groups and we are 3/12 after 3 raid nights.

Our DPS is terrible and still getting some gear from heroics. I don't see but a couple of guilds on our server ever doing 25 mans (ours included if we can round out a 25 man group) with current available gear.

The guild I'm in now is the most organized I've been in on this server...

Our server first (horde side) ICC 25 man heroic happened 3 weeks ago....

.....

it may have when it first came out as I'm not sure, but I can guarantee that at the latest it was changed if not always so during wrath to no longer show when in a random group. After constantly getting in runs with only 1 boss left I wanted to see what I was getting in first and noticed that I couldn't.

I know for random dungeons it used to say whether it was in progress or new (specific dungeons would give the exact amount of bosses), but I haven't played in a while so I don't know how it is now.

I wish all my dungeon runs only had 1 boss left. I hate having to do a heroic everyday. I don't need anything but the points. I wish they would just let you do 7 per week and not limit it to 1 per day.

I don't really mind once a day, but som heroics are so much better than others given a decent group and the ability to skip mobs and bosses. I mean... you can run Lost City in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, you could also get stuck in H-DM, which is about 35 minutes at the least.

If doing for points then 1 boss left is lovely. If hoping on an alt and also hoping for some heroic gear drops, then it kinda sucks, particularly if you get them back to back.

Since the release of patch 4.0.6, we’ve been keeping an eye on healers and how they are performing and are currently in the process of making some additional adjustments.

Priests

The cost of Power Word: Shield is being increased by 33%. While we wanted Discipline priests to be able to utilize this spell more often and with better results, we also did not want it to be the main spell (and often the only spell) used while in groups. We don’t find this to be a particularly compelling playstyle and have found that it encourages players to avoid using other spells such as Penance. We believe that using a shield in a tight moment is totally appropriate, but we don’t want it to be incredibly efficient to do so with more frequency than that.

We realize that by making Power Word: Shield slightly more expensive for Discipline priests to cast that it might cause Holy priests to avoid using it. To that end, we are adding mana savings into the Body and Soul talent. The tooltip will not reflect this change until a future patch, however. Ideally, Holy priests should not notice much of a change to the Power Word: Shield costs.

Shaman

We are also applying a hotfix for Purification for the Restoration shaman passive from 10% to 25%. We think that shaman healing per second is not as competitive with other healers and while we hoped to bring down Holy priest and Holy paladins (in particular) in 4.0.6, which we did, shaman still appear to be behind. In this case, it is simply easier to buff Restoration shaman rather than nerf everyone else or rebalance the encounters.

In Addition- Restoration Druids and Restoration Shaman

We agree with the sentiment among some players that Restoration druids and Restoration shaman are lacking in the healing cooldown department. The shaman buff and Power Word: Shield adjustment above should bring all healers reasonably close in terms of throughput. The decision on who to bring then might end up being dictated by the strong cooldowns offered by paladins or priests. This isn’t the kind of thing we can address via a hotfix, but it is something we are looking at for the next major content patch.

As always, we appreciate your continued constructive feedback and will do our best to keep you informed of ongoing developments.

I wonder how many priests will still contend that Body and Soul isn't worth it now that it will have 3 different bonuses for a mere 1 or 2 talent points.

Anyone else doing 25 man hard modes? What order do you recommend doing them in? We've killed Halfus a bunch and are working on Chimaeron now.

much lulz here, can't wait to log on and hear the bitching:

We’re making a number of hotfixes to address use of the Dungeon Finder and vote kick tools. The following hotfixes will require realm restarts to implement, which are likely to be next Tuesday’s weekly maintenance.

•Players who are outside a dungeon for more than a few minutes are now immediately able to be kicked.

•If queuing as a group with a tank or healer, and the tank or healer drops group (or is kicked) soon after joining, those that queued with them will also be removed from the dungeon.

•If three or more players group queue with each other it will require an additional vote for them to kick anyone they did not group queue with.

•If a group queue of 4 kicks the one person that they did not group queue with they will each receive a more severe penalty to their ability to initiate future kicks.

•If someone initiates a vote kick for someone they group queued with they will not incur a penalty to their ability to initiate future kicks.

With these changes we hope to reduce some undesirable behavior and annoyances, and encourage greater patience when using the Dungeon Finder. In addition, keep in mind that both initiating and agreeing to vote kick have always carried the same weight to your ability to kick in the future. It's always best to save your votes for when it really counts to ensure your ability to kick is available when it does.

We’ll of course be watching how these changes work to improve these systems, and always appreciate your feedback.

As these and other hotfixes are implemented, they'll be added to the hotfix blog - http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/2259389#blog

Yep, gonna be some bitchin from the schmucks selling tank queues for 20-100g each but hopefully it cuts down on the dps queue time from those that were getting head of line bumps from that non-participating tank.

The tank stuff looks ok on paper, we'll see how it works in action.

Re; the priest hotfix. If they only want PW:S used in emergency situations and not the main spell, why play one over a holy priest? I'm not extremely familiar with priests, so forgive me if its a stupid question.

Blizzard's treatment of Priests for this and the last expansion has been... Wonky, at best. I suspect it might be because PW:S may scale a little too well for Discipline at higher gear levels. That was the case in the last expansion, certainly: Shield~Spam was rather Overpowered in ICC.

I'm glad they did it. It's not fair to other players waiting in the queue when someone queues as a tank and then drops. I don't care if people sell spots in their group for money and heck... they might sell even better now since a friend can't just queue-n-drop!

Tried rated BG's last night and it was retarded. Of course our group wasn't exactly optimal, with half of us in PvE gear, some without PvP specs (me, a DK, included), and some in between.

The fact that we faced an obviously very well PvP geared side and lost notwithstanding, the whole process is completely retarded because the goddamn queues were 10-15 minutes long. That's just too long.

Count me out until queue times are something managable.

I usually experience 1-3 minute wait times for rated battlegrounds (I'm on Sargeras). And yeah, just like pve, you need to gear/spec appropriately, or you'll get destroyed.

Wait, so people actually need to prepare to be good and win a rated BG?! That's crazy!!!
