Careful he will soon go to his list of posts that have grieved him.

You sure love to post about me even you declared in public that you put me on the ignore list.

Tst..tst..tst..

Folks, this poster ^^^^^^ was being a pathetic pest and begging me for reply over and over and over again and because he didn't get the answer that he liked so he declared publicly that he indeed put me on his ignored list. Oh the horror. LOL.

Does this discussion really have to happen? That some rules in society are vastly more important than others?

Why not? Any poster p.o.v is as good/valid/important as any other poster as long as it is within the rules/guidelines of the forum.

Apparently some don't think so.

I disagree with ideas. I don't degrade posters.
The problem is your ideas, if you do really hold them, are so extreme and expressed with so little analysis that you look like a pretty clear troll.
Your rhetoric sounds like a parody, 'No government can tell me to cover my mouth when I cough! Your not the boss of me!'
South Park would not have made such an obvious parody. Even Cartman is more nuanced than that.

That's a long way to spell race baiting.

Did I say anything that was not correct in that post? Yes or No?

When can't debate with facts and logic, pull the race card, eh? Care to reply to my post to you above about churches/taxes (post #88)?

I admit you are rather gifted at making specious arguments. Your premise would mean that intentional speciousness is just as "good/valid/important" as anything else. That is so untenable I won't dignify it with counter-argument.

As I say above. Anything I say in that post that you quoted that was not correct? Yes or No?

We're saying we simply aren't wasting time with it. You'll just spin off another disingenuous argument.

So no straight yes or no answer? So I better declare in public that I would put you and interchange in my ignore list as bryjones? Naaaa.. nope. Can't be like that.

Still no reply to post 88, eh?

What? You said in public that you did put me on your ignore list and now this? How could you? LOL.

Did you say that? Yes or No? You were saying about "lying"?

Nope. I have been here for years and not once I ever put anyone on ignore list. So childish.

Last call, care to reply to post 88? Here it is.

...."So you want to charge taxes on churches that violate this attendance and distance order/guideline. So by the same standard, any other church should face similar penalty when they violate any order/guideline/rule/law? Yes or No? (see the "any") ..."

If you can believe info coming from red states, infections are up but hospitalizations and deaths are way down. I suspect republican governors are fudging their numbers. Just like in a horror movie, when people around you start disappearing, you know somethings up.

There's a lot going on.
Therapies are getting better at mitigating worst case effects.
NYC/NJ were largely accountable for a bulk of the initial deaths and that's because they got a bit blindsided and overrun. They couldn't handle the surge. We've got a lot more infections now, but they are further spread out and able to get access faster/better.

There is a bit of number doctoring going on. I don't remember if it was TX or FL but one of them reported an oddly high number of flu deaths. One month was over 4 times higher the previous couple months of averages. But Covid deaths were flat. Huh. I'm not sure it's super wide spread. Will have to data diving in a year and see what the reported deaths were over these months vs the projected averages.

Your statement that "Any poster p.o.v is as good/valid/important as any other poster as long as it is within the rules/guidelines of the forum" is wrong.

That's your opinion. I may or may not like whatever a poster have to say but he/she has the same right to say it as equally as any other member in here as long as it is within guideline/rules of this forum.

Just like the old saying of "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".

Whether a person has a "right to say it as equally" doesn't indicate whether it is "as good/valid/important".

Well, who are going to sit here and decide what is not as "good" or "valid" or "important" and delete/censor the one(s) not up to the arbitration/snub? Do you really want to go down to that slippery slope?

As a free country, we should allow anyone to say anything (within reason...that's why I said "within guidelines/rules"). That's my view.

Touche! Untenable is precisely what it is. To maintain that one p.o.v. is as good as another because it adheres to the rules is asinine.
Your statement that "Any poster p.o.v is as good/valid/important as any other poster as long as it is within the rules/guidelines of the forum" is wrong.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. I was trying to come up with a reasonable retort. Yours is just fine.

If you are merely clueless here, then I apologize for making the inference that you are dishonestly engaging with me. Nonetheless, you have reached my personal threshold for determining that your contributions in our conversation are not "good", "valid", or "important" enough for me to bother engaging with you further.
