I am a free thinker.

And breather.

Incorrect.

You have a right to thinking freely--no one can take that from you. However, you have no right to present yourself as a direct threat to others, as a result of your prideful ignorance that you mistake for "free thinking." This is the fundamental sacrifice you make when you choose to live in a democratic society. You can't have one without the other. You reject this on principle.

You believe that you are entitled to all that you consider good about such a society, without any of the inconveniences or consequences that are necessarily inherent in a society that will always present trade-offs. This is what makes you not only ignorant, but profoundly dangerous. This is why you understand nothing about western democracy. You are a threat to the real free thinkers of the world.

You speak as if you are an 8th grader or such, just barely competent enough to open a basic civics book, but without the insight and intelligence to understand the context and meaning of anything within it.

Blue city in a red state. Starting to get bad here though you wouldn't know if from how some people are acting. Once the bars opened here and people were packing into them we stopped going out even to retail stores. Everything gets delivered. The older folks I see out are notably more cautious (always masked and keeping distant).

You are a clear and present threat to humanity.

The fact that this is a discussion is nuts. Why did the president of the USA turn wearing mask into a political stance. Our government should not even have to force people. Public shame for selfish people who refuse to wear them would normally be sufficient. Trump is Toxic and he has managed to drive our country apart during a national emergency.

Keep ringing that bell, maybe your parents will come to help you sort this out.

WRONG. Government has no business making that decision and Governors who do should be removed from office.

What’s your thing against masks?
I find them inconvenient and a minor distraction but I can see how they can help.
As a Scientist guy I know said “hold a piece of TP a few inches from your mouth and cough, then put a mask on and do the same thing.
Makes sense to me, makes sense to respect people around you.
What is it about the mask that upsets you so much is it someone is telling you to do something?

Mine is too, I mean how much BS can you take before you just stuff someone in your IL?

I try to give people at least one or two chances to see if they have any intent in engaging in an honest conversation. After that, it's to the ignore list.

Imagine, if everyone in Lost's state were like Lost, pretty soon none of them would be able to travel to another state without mandatory 14 day quarantine.

BTW, I had a look at the map of the USA yesterday. Noticed that my state borders on 3 other states. Looked around. What states border on the most other states? I spotted this, and looked it up, I was right.

Missouri and Tennessee (8 each)

It's amazing how completely lost people seem to be on the purpose of wearing the mask to begin with. That or they are just being intellectually dishonest about it.

You wash your hands and disinfect to protect yourself from others. You wear a mask to protect others from you. You can be pre-symptomatic and still be infectious. It's that simple.

Thinking about one's actions and how it impacts others around them is like 4th gear in a 5 speed car. Some people never get out of 3rd gear.

Texas revoked the liquor licenses (for now) of a few bars because they had too many customers inside and many of them did not wear any mask.

I do think it is funny that liberals are now demanding everyone should follow rules and protocols. Can folks say they have masks but those masks are documented? LOL.

Maybe they should start charging churches taxes that violate orders too.
