I think I'll just toss the logitech sub and upgrade the whole shebang. Thank you very much for your input, this thread saved me quite a bit of trial and error (and the expense associated with it). The logitech system doesn't just cut in and out, the output crackles too, so I feel it's a bit of...
Well, it's not really about not being able to. I've never done it, so I'm not sure. But I've never really been happy with the z-2300s. They're nice and boomy, but the highs are so shrill and the mids non-existent. I figure this is a good opportunity to move on.
I don't want an old...
We paid (whenever we went out together) because he's younger than us and family, but I should be fair and say he didn't demand - it's just felt like the right thing to do. It still left us hurting a bit. Eating in New York can be very cheap, but not if your guest spent the weeks before his...
Your friend's situation is similar to what it's like for me right now - guests at least every 6 weeks. Yeah, we've had about a dozen guests since last christmas. It's all been family, but in all honesty, the more extended family is here to see NYC and not us. I don't whine about family, but...
Thanks for your reply, your feedback is always spot on!
The jack is loose on the inside of the sub - the speakers hook up to the z-2300s sub via RCA plug and the rca jack itself is shaky, and sound cuts in and out when wiggled. I'm sure it's a relatively straight forward fix if you're handy...
I actually love my Harmony (and I gave my bedroom tv harmony to my dad because he needed a remote, not because I didn't like it). I just like having options. It's just weird to me that there's absolutely no competition for the Harmony (at least at the sub-$100 price range). It's good to...
My logitech z2300's left channel is fritzing on me (it's the jack, not the speaker) and cuts in and out. I'd like to get a simple stereo amplifier ( for example) and some bookshelf speakers for a cheapy yet not too crappy replacement, though wonder if I could some how save the subwoofer. It's...
shoot, should have posted in audio/video. Please move if necessary.
Aside from Logitech/harmony, are their any other companies worth checking out?
I don't have a compelling reason not to go with harmony again, I just like options.
I just gave away my Harmony 520 and need to replace it and looked for similar (USB programmable) remotes and can't seem to find anything other than the Harmony... Are their any other similar remotes out there, or should I just buy another harmony?
I will add that, of course, you should lock your door. I didn't and noticed things would go.. Missing.. I don't think people even thought of it as stealing, they would just borrow it based on me being a generally friendly person, then take advantage of such friendliness.
On another note...
I'm an introvert as well and roommates helped me break out of my shell a lot. My first roommate situation was with 4 gay guys and 2 hipster girls (think real world, but with more body hair everywhere) and, lemme tell you, it exposed me to things that I was not exposed to before.. Which is...
