From lack of familiarity with weapons or military tactics, or just plain survival in a non-urban environment where gluten free soy latte wasn't available on every corner, this isn't a fight which would be fought on terms friendly to his side. Conservatives suffer from PTSD from a childhood exposure to a war against evil they were beaten to death to make sure they never felt tempted to join. Makes even more sense after seeing the positive, uplifting and unifying State of the Union address while the Democrats looked like they all were constipated and sitting on their hands rather than joining in for the good of unifying the country.
