I have some measure of respect for conservatives and libertarians on the issue of money in politics. They fervently believe it is a constitutional right and make no apologies for it. There is no dishonesty, no hypocrisy, no BS, no fooling and exploitation of simple people.

Hell, according to dipshits like you, that was the main reason why Hilary actually lost, because she was in the pocket of Wall Street (but Turmp somehow wasn't?).
The only Republicans spouting the shit you claim are the ones doing the shit you claim you fucking hate. And they're not honest about it at all, because even when they admit they support something, its not because of being "fiscal conservatives" that they kept claiming, they come clean with the fact that they just plain despise a hell of a lot of people and go out of their way to demonize (often outright fabricating straw men to demonize, because, well they get away with it thanks to boneheads like you and other conservatives; oh, but that's ok, because they're honest about how they're more interested in believing bullshit fairy tales than reality, so we should cut them slack for fucking everyone over). Don't know what you mean by feels but a lot of people don't have interest or time for policy this and that. They vote with gut feeling and their perception of personalities. On who they believe is more authentic or whatever they value. I know people personally who voted for the vile one and they say they would have gladly voted for Bernie if he was on the ballot. Most of the claims that I've seen from people about why they just couldn't vote for Hilary were even more true of Turmp and openly say they didn't care.
