The fact remains that Bernie is the only major politician not performing oral services to the moneyed class. Regardless of his politics that alone makes him worthy of respect.

The more I see the typical liberal views here and elsewhere, the less hope I see for the Dees. In November they will get another beating and will again cry racism hicks ignorance this that. All the while blind to their own ignorance

I have some measure of respect for conservatives and libertarians on the issue of money in politics. They fervently believe it is a constitutional right and make no apologies for it. There is no dishonesty, no hypocrisy, no BS, no fooling and exploitation of simple people.

The lack of logic and the amount of feels in this thread is both amazing and a perfect example of why someone like trump was elected.

Don't know what you mean by feels but a lot of people don't have interest or time for policy this and that. They vote with gut feeling and their perception of personalities. On who they believe is more authentic or whatever they value. I know people personally who voted for the vile one and they say they would have gladly voted for Bernie if he was on the ballot. But such things are lost on the typical liberal Democrat of today, living in their own universe as they do.

I'm sure you believe that because you feel it's true.

Thanks for proving my point.

Imagine if politicians had to wear logos of their "donors" like NASCAR drivers or soccer players of clubs. Messi and Barcelona for example wear Qatar Airways.

Would there even be any room left on their clothing...would all the logos even fit? It sure would be quite a sight. All the while they denounce big money in politics! This segment of democracy brought to you by Goldman Sachs! And now time for the Morgan Stanley commercial break...

There is only moneycracy in America now.

There has always been, and always will be, money in politics. Money = power = wealth.

The difference is that Citizens United turned it up to 11, while at the same time citizens have stopped paying attention because they're looking at their phones.

I am never ceased to be amazed by the liberals' complete lack of understanding of the very country they live in. It is almost hard to believe...as if they occupy another universe. I guess confirmation bias, reading and watching only your sources, mixing with only your kind of people...all of that can do that.

Another case in point...the following picture is being widely mocked on the internet and this forum too. This was actually released by the vile one's staff, not the others. And the ones taking great pleasure in mocking are blissfully unaware that this picture will get him re-elected. As I said, complete lack of understanding of the American psyche....none whatsoever.

I’m sure it looks that way to you but looked at properly it is the lack of understanding of feels and the over application of logic among democrats is why Trump won. Logic is how you run the government not how you win elections.

I take it you ignored the pieces where he was shown to not exactly be averse to affluent lifestyle himself? Bernie absolutely was better than either, but all him being involved was going to do is split the Democrats (even he fucking straight up said that, seriously, you want to praise him then ignore it when he fucking tells you the truth?).

Yeah, keep on using that bullshit excuse for why you vote for pieces of shit like Turmp and other Republicans.

I have some measure of respect for conservatives and libertarians on the issue of money in politics. They fervently believe it is a constitutional right and make no apologies for it. There is no dishonesty, no hypocrisy, no BS, no fooling and exploitation of simple people.

Bullshit. Turmp bitched and wailed constantly about money in politics (and most others do to, they'll say they want money out of politics; including huge hypocrites like the Koch Brothers, who of course, never actually lead by example on that). Hell, according to dipshits like you, that was the main reason why Hilary actually lost, because she was in the pocket of Wall Street (but Turmp somehow wasn't?).

The only Republicans spouting the shit you claim are the ones doing the shit you claim you fucking hate. And they're not honest about it at all, because even when they admit they support something, its not because of being "fiscal conservatives" that they kept claiming, they come clean with the fact that they just plain despise a hell of a lot of people and go out of their way to demonize (often outright fabricating straw men to demonize, because, well they get away with it thanks to boneheads like you and other conservatives; oh, but that's ok, because they're honest about how they're more interested in believing bullshit fairy tales than reality, so we should cut them slack for fucking everyone over). But then we know that you don't give a shit if they lie out their ass as long as they go "greed is good" like a literal 80s movie villain.

And those people are idiots and the reason we keep getting the politicians that they claim to fucking hate, the ones that keep fucking them over because they're too stupid to bother to learn policy and shit. And believe me they have time. If they have time to fuck off on Facebook and bitch about politicians, they have time to actually learn something. The fact is, they want it this way, they want to be able to keep blaming politicians for fucking them over because then they can keep believing that they have no role in that stuff.

Except that people are full of shit about their "values". Most of the claims that I've seen from people about why they just couldn't vote for Hilary were even more true of Turmp and openly say they didn't care. Evangelists gladly are selling their values out as long as it gets them their protected persecution complex. They don't give a shit. But hey, at least they're dishonest about it right? What fucking bizarro world do you live in where people spout lies except about the horrible shit and that's somehow admirable to you?

I do love how you're desperately trying to absolve yourself of blame for shit like Turmp. Keep on blaming it on Democrats. You think Bernie would've gotten fucking jack shit of his policy done with the Republicans controlling the House and Senate and openly stating they would not even consider nominations for the Supreme Court from Democrats? Talk about living in a dream world. Until you assholes stop giving Republicans a free pass for being the fucking problems you specifically call out, just so you can go "well the Democrat wasn't perfect so I just couldn't support them, I not only don't care that the Republican was objectively worse in the aspects I criticize the Democrats for, I actually think more highly of them because they were honest about being pieces of shit" only for you fucking idiots to turn around and go "how could we have known Turmp was gonna be so bad?".

Here's a truth for all you "Turmp won, get over it" dipshits, guess what Hilary won over Sanders. Even he thinks you're being dumbassholes that are fucking it up for everyone by copping this bullshit. But keep living in your fantasy world that all the assholes that globbed onto Turmp would've gotten on board with Sanders over Turmp. All the people gleefully shouting "fuck your feelings" and gloating about Turmp gloating about being a piece of shit, yeah all of them were huge Bernie Bros. Fucking dumb. That you think the other conservatives, that excused voting for Turmp by going "its for the ideology, its for the Supreme Court seats, its for ___," they were not going to vote for a fucking self-described Socialist. And likewise, you think Republicans wouldn't have brought out the big guns to go after Sanders? You're delusional as shit. He literally was the boogeyman they tried to claim Hilary was. Yet, somehow you think the people opposed to all of that about Hilary, magically were going to flip to being Sanders supporters? If you were a Bernie Bro and voted for Turmp out of spite, you're getting what you deserve and you need to own up to it and stop blaming the Democrats for your stupidity. Funny how so many of you spouting this garbage claim you're all about personal responsibility, apparently either oblivious to what that or irony is because damn you're some epic whiny bitches. Its worth repeating, Bernie despises your idiocy. But guess what, you perfectly fit in with Turmp and the Republicans. Fact is, that's where you were all along, you've just been lying to try and keep some shred of credibility that you weren't after seeing exactly what people said about Turmp and the Republicans being true and not wanting to admit that you enabled that.

Yet here you are, still trying to excuse Turmp working with a foreign power to undermine the US, all while the Republicans tear so much else down from within. But of course you're fine with that. Its the Democrats that are the real problem according to you. Poor is the man that believes his own lie, which makes you a beggar, and Turmp your beggar king.

Er, am I confusing you with someone else, aren't you the one that normally has long rambling nonsensical diatribes? Yet here you are concisely explaining the situation.

Isn't it funny that people want that? Fuck logic, I'm voting for the person that makes me feel right! Well shit, who knew they might not be entirely logical when it comes to how they act as leaders? Oh, anyone with a functioning brain? Well shit. Oh well, all politicians are the same, amirite?

Moonbeam drops the dope beats all the time brother. You just gotta get his unique cadence and diction.

One can bitch and moan how elections aren't all exercises in one intellectual vs another all day and night but that just avoids reality. It's just not that smart at the end of the day if the end goal is to gain and hold power in order to legislate your agenda. You want to be the intellectual that wins, you better learn fast that this is also about personality and perception and the gut, not just the brain. Calling liberal elitists out of touch never made much sense to me until now.

I sense a lot of anger in you. So my suggestion would be to read and try to understand the depths of what you described as long nonsensical diatribes of that poster. You may gain insight into yourself which in turn would help reduce that anger hopefully

Uh what?

So Democrats are the corrupt ones because a different group of people (of which the data shows they are more likely to be less educated, racially ignorant, and motivated by race) voted for trump?

Why don't you just come out and say you hate facts and prefer your reality to be skewed?
I think the premise is that if the rich and powerful Clintons hadn't corrupted the primary process, Bernie would have won the nomination. Given that I think Hillary lost because she had no message beyond "not Trump", Bernie might have done better. But it's hard to know at this point.

And that premise is bullshit. Did Obama have more money than Clinton? How did he beat her? By being backed by even richer and more powerful people? By corrupting the primary process? Or did he have a better message? Did Bernie have a better message? What part of the primary process was corrupted? Did the Russians hack the primaries? Did the DNC rig the votes?

Bernie lost fair and square unless you've got some compelling evidence that says otherwise. Do you?

The one with the most money behind them, does not always win the election. Who had the most expensive campaign in history and still lost? There must be a lot of sore campaign donors out there. I'm sure some of them are so pissed, that like a compulsive gambler, they're gonna chase it up with even bigger money next time. Funny how Soros was wrong and the Koch bros were not invested to the tune they usually are. In the end, Trump's campaign was pretty cheap.

Wait, so now not only am I wrong for wanting to use logic but now I'm not allowed to have feelings either?

Lol

That's almost as pathetic as you complaining about the overwhelming majority of Democrats who voted for Hillary, for Bernie's loss in the primary and then blaming the majority of the electorate who voted for Hillary as the reason for her loss.

I know what people feel and how bad they hurt and I know every trick in the book we try to escape our pain. I know what the anti Christ looks like. Trump is a God to ego. A competitive society destroys humility.
