Nope!! Not to this extent!! Sorry!!

It has, it is only spotlighted much more now as the illegal immigration levels are so high now along with people ignoring their deportation orders.

I agree that this is a sad case and I only wonder why they were ordered to be deported 9 years ago.

Then change the fucking laws so that’s how asylum works. Don’t make up your own bullshit on the spot. Better yet just be honest with yourself and admit that you would never turn down an asylum seeker, thus spending all this money on the courts and shit is pointless.
Wait a minute here. Vic made a case against you charging the only explanation for the logical inconsistency of a desire to have big government come down on small people in our present example here, contrary to usual conservative thinking, is that such a state of blindness is the result of racism, bigotry, and xenophobia. But instead of addressing that you jumped to lets have open borders and to which Vic replied, "And, having lost any claim to logic, you jump straight to the open borders straw man."

Then, as if to prove him right you dive off a tower into a sponge by saying. "Then change the fucking laws so that’s how asylum works. Don’t make up your own bullshit on the spot. Better yet just be honest with yourself and admit that you would never turn down an asylum seeker, thus spending all this money on the courts and shit is pointless."

But Vic was just arguing one case with you here, pointing out the illogical nature of your position and why that is invisible to you, and that in turn causes you to attack him irrationally. He isn't arguing for open borders and didn't make up any bull shit on the spot. You made that up, adding that it's all a big waste of money. But it always will take a lot of money to fight law enforcement that is illogical because it is bigotry AND thus also a waste of money.

We have an adversarial system.

We are left, it seems to me, with your emotional attitudes exposed for what they logically appear to be, racism, bigotry, and xenophobia, a charge you can only deflect but not address it seems, having examined to debate, it seems to me.

It is of the nature of authoritarians bigots, when confronted with their bigotry, to claim to be victims of adversarial dissent. It's a constant headache for people who always think they are right. It's oppression to be told you're not always right. Sadly, it's a sure ticket to a life of strife and misery.

They are *your* representatives. Think about that for a second.

btw, the "all" politicians are liars/thieves/etc. is lazy thinking that isn't true but allows the lazy citizen to disavow any personal responsibility for pretty much everything.

Change requires sacrifice, Americans have been taught/brainwashed for many years that they can have their cake and eat it too, on the cheap off someone elses back and the big money bought and paid for politicians that capitalize and promote that type of thinking get voted in to office not the ones telling the voters the hard truths about the costs of the throwaway consumerism lifestyle,

so what you call lazy thinking is reality for most Americans and turning around and pointing fingers at them calling them deplorables, racists, xenophobes, lazy citizen, etc. is lazy finger pointing,

that is common among many of the rich white liberal elite who benefited from Reaganomics and other pro rich tax policies but turn around and pretend they are still for the little people, and when someone like Trump happens they are aghast and look for Russians, deplorables, racists and all sorts of others that have allowed this great travesty to happen because it couldn't be them.

Yeah actually the law is black and white on this case. They should’ve been deported and I hope they are quickly.

Yeah, it never could be bureaucratic ineptitude, incompetence and/or malice in requests for documentation, dates of appointments and such. Like the 5 year old kid who had no legal representation that a judge was questioning about paperwork? If the system can't process someone in 20 years, they've been here and out of trouble long enough to qualify on hardship of process alone. You're the kind of person that I hope cops pull over for minor shit and never give a break. The kind of person who sits at DMV for hours only to find that you need one more document to make the clerk happy but you have to come back, pick a number and start all over after you go get it.

You talk as if government is perfect and never makes mistakes and yet that's all you complain about here. Except for this...lol! Fucking racists.

One instance does not give credence to your unsubstantiated claim that this has been happening for years...….
yet there are many causes of things like this happening and quite a few of the causes are people never recieving the paperwork in the first place and this the government assuming they are ignoring deportation orders when that is hardly the truth@! It is incumbent upon the government to see that these things get delivered to the correct people!!
In fact it was recently on the news concerning the governments lack of sending out these notices to the correct addresses!
Not all immigrants who don`t get notofocation of court dates etc are ignoring the government!!
I pity people like you who believe that just because somebody was not properly notified of a court date they are then assumed to bhe ignoring a court order@@!
Most of these people are hard working people who pay taxes and care about their community!!

Don't know about burn it down, but smaller government is easy. All government is evil, some government is necessary. Let me add a simple proof before losing your mind. A good size chunk of my tax dollars are used to kill people in other lands. I vehemently disagree with that policy, but if I stop supporting it by not paying my taxes, our kind and benevolent government will put me in prison.

That is a geopolitical power puzzle in 8D I dont think any of us really want to play.
Pull all your troops out from everywhere, then what happens?
Other troops move in.
You loose your standings, allies, around the globe and the power axis slides towards something else.
The dollar you hold in your hand, what is it worth beyond the paper its pressed on?
Imagine a barrel of oil trades in Rubles.
Now what is that dollar worth?
Imagine trade is being forced from your shores.
Now what is that dollar worth?
As I see it thats the power play. Until the planet unites under one kind of gigantic democratic process, that is how its played.
I for one take our wester lifestyle over authoritarian dictatorships, cause that is what moves in to the nr.1 spot if the west slides...
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK IT IS PUTIN IS DOING !!!! Trump, Brexit, Europe ... destabilizing the fucking dollar.

Yeh, tell us about it. You'll still vote GOP, the party of Bolton, Cheney, Wolfowitz, North & the rest of the Neocon gang. Last I checked, they were giving Iran the stink eye & the special lying propaganda massage... I wonder what they want to accomplish...

You've made an erroneous assumption that negates your entire statement.
But I do like Cheney and North.

So we can ignore court orders now?

If court orders are not delivered to the proper person how are they supposed to follow the court order? Do you think that we all should have to call the courts every day to find out if there are any outstanding warrants or any orders from the court that were sent to the wrong address even if we haven't been in any trouble with the law for 20 years? If you think that that question is stupid then congratulations it was meant to be stupid. But it is also what you are insinuating that they should have done because they had no clue that there was a court order for their deportation because the court sent it to the wrong address.

Just like one is expected to show up to court for your hearing, case, and sentencing... etc...

Yes, I do expect you to. But it's very clear you haven't been to a court much in your life - much less immigration court. You clearly have zero clue what court proceedings are like.

I got a traffic ticket 3 months ago. I keep up to date with when I'm expected to be in court.

To indicate otherwise is asinine at its finest.

God forbid one be held liable for simple expectations. What's next? Expecting people to learn to zip up their pants without getting their dick caught? Ohhh the challenges in life! It's just too much!

It's good to know that we should all start calling the courts first thing in the morning to learn if there is anything that we have to worry about for the day. The courts should love getting 10's of millions of calls every day to find out if the courts fucked up on doing their jobs.

That is some fine fiscal conservatism you got going on there. Yes, that is sarcasm because it is going to cost millions and millions of dollars if that amount of people were to start calling every day to find out if they are safe from the courts for the day. Personally, I would prefer a "Papers Please" law instead which is extremely ironic coming from me because it would violate the United States Constitution.
