becoming just a little too easy for this guy? He won 7 of the 16 he entered including the PGA Championship, a major. In 11 years he has won 61 tour events over 5 per year on average. Personally, i am all for winning but i have never liked domination, and he appears to be dominating the tour and i don't enjoy watching the same guy win over and over, but that's just me.
I guess most of his fans would be equally happy if he was beating them so easily, like a man playing with boys so to speak.

what, exactly, would you like to do about it?
 
He's played very well this year and entered tournamets where the course suits his game.

I wouldn't call it domination, but he is apparently tough to beat if he has the lead starting sunday. Other than that he doesn't fair so well. He's also within the last few years to conqour the mental aspect of the game...playing smart so to speak, playing high percentage shots.

Tiger is so good because he works very hard and has a great deal of natural talent. Hit spends hours and hours doing nothing but hitting. The guy wins for the same reason Lance does - he trains as hard as he can.

So you honestly don't think winning on the PGA tour is easy for Woods. Come on he has won almost 50% of the tourneys he entered this year alone and routinely wins by wide margins and NEVER loses when he has a 4th round lead. ARE you serious?

Nothing. I just don't think it is good for the game. At least for me.

In all honestly, all of the top pros practice/train 8-10 hours per day or more.

Unless he is winning 100% of the time, then no, it isn't too easy. If it was too easy, he wouldn't ever lose.

What about Roger Federer in tennis? That guy is arguably the most dominating athlete in world along side Tiger.

Can't hate them for being good. What do you propose? Tell them they can't enter because they are too good?
 
There are always dominant athletes. Its easy to point at golf and tennis because they aren't "team" sports, but its no different than MJ being unstoppable on the basketball court, or Jerry Rice tearing up secondaries on a regular basis. Its the nature of sport, deal with it.

So winning half the tournaments he entered in a year and finishing in the top ten in the events he didn't win, never missing the cut, you don't think that is easy? In 216 starts he has made the cut 211 times. I think it easy for him.

I bet the rest of the guys on Tour think it's great for the game, if not for them personally as competitors. The Tour purses are astronomical because of Tiger. The TV contract is what is because of Tiger. The amount of youngsters taking up the game (particularly minorities) has gone up because of Tiger. Golf has more interest than ever as a spectator sport because of Tiger. I could go on and on, but the point is that all the attention he brings to the sport is because he is so dominant. Remember, America loves a winner. Particularly one who pwns at will!

uhh.. tiger is the only reason that many people even watch the game to start with. Trust me, without tiger, the tour would lose quite a bit of popularity.

Do you think Tiger makes $100 million a year because the spectators don't matter? Are you kidding me?! We, those that watch (and therefore fund) the sport, ARE what defines what is good for the sport!
