I've done it sometimes before, and usually because it's comfortable. Sometimes I will switch to crossing at the ankles, which is sometimes less comfortable. I don't think crossing legs is feminine, it's just more comfortable for women than for men, generally, but I'm one of those men that find it comfortable (I'm 22 in case you're wondering).
