As much as I dislike it, ok. I usually just go out of my way to avoid being near them anyways. However shit coming into my room is different and the littering has to stop. People think because it's a cig butt, it's not litter?!

I'm off to buy me a large can o' stink bomb and just leak it around town. I'll go stand next to smokers just to let them see how it is. That might could be a good social experiment. If they tell you to go away because you stink, just say it's your right to smell up the air if you want to.

Way to go. If you can't beat them, join them. Then you can bitch about yourself along with them.

You're not going to do this.

You choose where to live. You choose where to work. You choose where to drop off your kids. The distance you travel is your choice, plain and simple.

yup, that is correct. i never said it wasnt possible, just that my situation doesnt grant me the ability to ride a bicycle to work. lazy has nothing to do with it, which is what the post i quoted was saying.

Smokers don't walk up to non-smokers and light up just to be dicks. This guy is a dick just to be a dick.

Why do smokers light up then? Because they want to and can, right? Most don't care if their habit annoys others. Why should I give a shit what they think? No one has a right to clean air.

Non-smokers act like they own the planet, dictating the lives of others, thinking that they're better human beings than smokers simply because of a choice not to smoke. It's like they're on their high horse pointing down at smokers going shame on you.

Basically, if you don't want to smell the smoke, close your window. Go to some other part of the city park. Walk down some other street. Roll up the window in your car and close the outside vents.

If it's inside a closed space where ventilation is an issue, sure, I can see where non-smokers would have a legit gripe. But it's these asswipes that bitch and moan that they can smell smoke while in their car (which smells a LOT worse and is a LOT more deadly than a cig, fucking hypocrites) or it's these asswipes that make faux-cough noises while passing a smoker who's standing on the corner waiting for the crosswalk sign to change or something equally stupid.

Smokers don't realize it stinks because they're used to it.

Everybody's tastes are different. I can't stand the smell of a lot of indian food, yet there's a billion people who'll look at me like I'm insane if I tell them they're eating somethign that smells like shit.

I think cig smoke smells GREAT. I like the smell of some brands better than others, too.

The difference is you need to eat and the smell doesn't physically harm anyone. Smoking is a choice that releases poison into the air. And i wouldn't typically give a shit because I've smoked when i was younger and it doesn't bother me much. I just hate when smoke flies into my 6 month old daughters face as we are walking out of a restaurant or store. she doesn't need to breath that shit.

Ya? I'm sure there are health nuts out there who'd belittle you just as much for stuffing your daughter's face with unhealthy foods.

The point is, fuck off! If you don't like the way someone else is living their life, tough freaking shit.

Well this is how the US is becoming with smoke. I think it's a step beyond going against smoking to belittle someone about stuffing his daughter's face with unhealthy foods. It's just how society is.

10 years ago it's fine to take a kid to McDonalds. Now people laugh at you. 10 years ago (ok more like 15), you could smoke on a plane. Not anymore. Smoking bans everywhere. Get with the way life is changing.

The daughter reference was an example. I couldn't care less what he feeds her, but I'm sure some cunty douche does and wouldn't have any problems bitching at him for it -in which case I'd fully expect him to tell the douche to mind their own business, which is what smokers are doing to uppity whining non-smoker assholes who try controlling everyone else's life.

I wouldn't dare smoke in a plane. However, while having a cig this past weekend standing around the back side of a building with several other smokers out of the way of non-smoker traffic, some fucktarded kid walked past us and stopped just to tell us that cigs kill and polute and he didn't like how it smells. I was like WHAT?! NO WAY. then I dropped my cig, stepped on it, said wow, thank you so much for saving my life and then promptly lit up another one, flipped him off, told him to get lost because nobody asked for his fucking opinion.

I can't STAND people who can't mind their own business.

Excepting China - they do. Nonsmokers outnumber smokers.

You showed him. What'd that cost you? About a quarter? How's those $5 packs treating you these days?

People should mind their own business, but at the same time, people should also realize that what they are doing is stupid.

I used to be you. Now I look down on you Nik. You are weak. You are a slave to your addiction and you pay $5 for the privilege of having Phillip Morris or whoever killing you every hour or so.

Nicotine is a hell of a drug and it MAKES you think that you like it. It makes you think that you can't live without it, and that a world without smoking every hour is a world you don't want to be a part of.

I'm saving $300 or so month now. And I've pulled at least 4 people I know over to my side. We will win.

You think you "choose" to smoke? Do you "like smoking" think it is "relaxing" do ya? Well its all a big fucking lie dude.

Quit. Do it now.

Don't pretend to know me, Mr. Dole.

I'm a social smoker and I haven't bought a pack of smokes since high school. I go weeks without smoking.

Do you really believe that I care what you think, anyway?

People should mind their own business

Yes, they should. You should take your own advice, chump.

I am a social smoker too, if people offer, I accept. I don't ever buy cigs/tobacco.

It doesn't stink to everyone, I don't smoke but I don't mind the smell at all. To me coffee smells a lot worse. I cannot stand the smell of it at all. You should say YOU think smoke stinks, even if a majority of people don't like the smell, it's not a fact that it stinks. It's simply an opinion. Coffee breath also trumps smokers breath IMHO. Since I don't like it, Coffee should be banned!

Coffee breath is fucking horrid.. and the people who drink WAY too much coffee usually have a rank smell of it. These people offend me. Coffee should be banned since it is a drug and has no beneficial use.

I know what people are going to say, "coffee gives me energy".. well cigarettes let me relax.. so fuck off.

You ever get a haircut from somebody who has coffee breath? It's probably more likely to happen than smelling it from somebody smoking in their car in front of you.
