smoke all you want in your car, but stop tossing the stupid cigarettes out of your window you stupid fuck. THE EARTH IS NOT YOUR ASHTRAY. If you can't find a place for it, shove it up your ass.

Cigarette butts are made of cellulose. We're giving it back to Mother Earth.

Even though I don't smoke, I don't mind the smell of smoke at all. I just don't like what it does to white walls / furniture / equipment.

At times in the past I've been behind both a state trooper and city patrol that I SAW toss a butt out the window. Makes you go hmm.

Anyone remember that old show on comedy central where this British guy does random funny things in public? In this one bit, he dressed up as the grim reaper and stood around outside office buildings by all the smokers, tapping his foot and glancing at his wristwatch. Freaking hilarious!

I'm talking about the last cloud of smoke that gets blown out the window and you drive right into it when traffic starts moving (fresh air intake below the windshield). Happens every so often. Usually not a whole lot but enough to know what you just breathed in.

I am 41 and been driving since i was 16 and i have NEVER had this happen to me.

i think its your imagination.

Catalytic Converters are the cause of many fires too. DAMN THOSE PEOPLE AND THEIR CATALYTIC CONVERTERS!!!

now you're just making yourself look bad. Better to say nothing and be thought an ass than to say something and remove all doubt.

http://www.greenecoservices.com/taxpayer-cost-of-cigarette-litter-and-fire/ I like this one since it covers cigarette-caused fires of all origin.

AND BY ALL MEANS SMOKERS DON'T CLICK THIS LINK, It's full of lies and deception.

I think Dennis Leary said it best..."I smoke cigarettes, so what...the people who complain jog behind a city bus for 3 hours breathing in exhaust fumes...yea thats gotta be good for ya"

Firesafe cigarettes chump.

I'd actually like to see some data to back up the claim that smokers cause highway brush fires. How often do highway brush fires occur? How many of them are proven to be because of a tossed cig?

Um, I commute about 2 hours a day in bad traffic and I have this happen about two-three times a WEEK. It is highly annoying.

Even better example, just sitting in stopped traffic - windows up. By the time you smell the smoke it's too late.

Seriously, I don't smoke cigarettes (and REALLY do not care what other people do as long as it doesn't affect me) but smelling your smoke in my car is NO different than hearing annoying bass music.

wait LOL you smell other peoples smoke in your car? with your windows rolled up? I drive daily on one of the busiest freeways in California, I don't smoke and I keep my windows rolled up. I have NEVER smelled somebodies elses smoke in my car. This is either a troll attempt or a huge shens. As OutHouse said it's in your imagination.

I bet the guy behind you getting a wiff of your exhaust feels the same way about you.

Yes, on more than one occasion I have smelled the cigarette smoke from the car in front of me, with my windows rolled up.
