wow, such poor sportsmanship. Glory hog.

The only reason Randall won was because Trump needs someone to work on his AC property, everyone knows that the casinos are the losers in his holdings.

Plus He supposedly is a founder in a management consulting firm. He did a poor job in the project for someone who has PM experience. I believe he has peaked in his ability.

Rebecca has a lot to learn, but she has far more potential.

Do you think that Trump would have given her the job?

Uh, of course. He only hinted at it by allowing them to choose beforehand...

In an instant he would have.

Trump should fire him right away, unless he has good reason for thinking Rebecca couldn't do well.

no matter how good she is, he could never have a 23 year old girl as the project leader on a 100 million dollar building project.

Randall I believe can do the job, Rebecca no. Not to take anything away from Rebecca, she's just 23.

I was a huge Randall fan up until he said Rebecca shouldn't be hired. What a suddenly self-important ass. The whole point of the competition was for Trump to hire the brightest and best-in tonight's case, it was a tie. If Randall is such a genius for business he should realize the most difficult commodity to procure is quality people. If I had been Trump, after Randall said that I would have said "well guess what, that was your first task in your new job, and you blew it...you're fired, Rebecca, you're hired." I can only home some other great company snaps her up and she blows Randall away with her success.

I guess that with all that education Randall never learned any tact. I can see now, on the Today show tomorrow Randall says he didn't want another apprentice due to the suffering of his people for the last 200 years.

Randal saying no to hiring Rebecca shows that he does not let emotion rule his business decisions. At a very very emotional time for Randal no less.

And it shows he is a bit selfish.

You make an interesting point. I don't expect Trump would fire him, but I think there's a real argument that Randal made a poor business decision by squandering a valuable resource.

I view it the other way... I think he let his emotion rule his decision....

A good leader would have recognized her potential and wanted her on his team....

i think part of it for randall is, he was pissed because she said she was better than he was.

if the same question had been posed to him before the final tasks he would probably have said hire her.

i think he should extremely bad judgement because she is obviously a well qualififed candidate.

I bet you Trump hires her anyway tomorrow. Merry Christmas, Rebecca, you're hired. Maybe he'll sneak it into a stocking or something...

Who's to say he can't do that.

Also, I think Trump was a little surprised as well. He seemed to me like he was a little disappointed.

Yea you're right. The more I think about it the more I realize how terrible a decision it was.

I wonder how long before he realizes this.
