am i the only one that thought Randall's english wasn't very good.

it definitely wasn't polished. the past apprentices all were more gifted verbally.

not to say randall wasn't intelligent or gifted, he is, it is just in the area of speech he seems to be a bit lacking.

;), although his line "apprentice not apprentii" was very nicely done.

Hmm... I didn't pick up on that. I thought he was well-spoken with the exception of the fact that he spoke way too fast. But, that's probably because when Trump asks you a question, you have about 2.6883 seconds to answer it, so you better fit in as much as you can. In fact, at one point Trump asked for 3 reasons why he should hire Randal. Randel spun out reason 1 at 200mph, and Trump didn't even let him get to reason 2 LOL.

the 3 repeating ofcourse.

Randal made the right choice by denying Rebecca at the end. She was nowhere near the top of the candidate field.

If Randal could have hired anyone from the contestant pool, it should have been Alla.

Defend him because you think he was justified in not sharing the glory, not because he honestly felt she wasn't ready for it.
that's the way I saw it. He specifically said "tonight" he shouldn't hire her.

It's obvious he wanted to mow down the competition... that's how he's been in everything does, albeit in a humble way (which makes it more sweet). He didn't want to think he didn't really win tonight. Talent-wise, nobody was close though.

PS... get it up Night201, get it up! :D

Wy wife and I were initially shocked and appalled at Randall's ungracious and self-centered answer... even if his answer was still no, he could have definately phrased his answer less.... harshly.

"No! The prize is mine! And you can't have it! Nyaaahhh!!"

... and there's something wrong with Randall's nose... it's got a slight shape and colour change from the rest of his face... looks like a penis.

I *had* a very high opinion of Randall, but that last performance only makes me think every moment of politeness was just an act. From a 10 down to only 7 or something.

He deserved to win, but not by the huge margin most people here seem to think. His last task almost bombed because 1) he didn't check the weather reports for his outdoor event, and 2) he didn't have *any* contingency plan. He could have flopped entirely if just one more thing happened to go wrong. He got all panicky where the other gal *always* kept her cool.

It was a neck-and-neck race. Had she been a little more assertive in the fundraising aspect she would have beaten him rightly.

Wow, talk about no class. That was one of the most pathetic displays of "it's not enough that I succeed, everyone around me must fail" that I've ever seen. What a shame.

WTF? You have a really dirty mind. And you must love seeing that body organ so much that you see it in everything.

I still don't get what was so good about Rebecca she lost 2 out of 3?
She was just lucky she went in with real duds into the boardroom.

Randal was right not to hire her he saw where it was going trump was going to give a 'tie' and righfully so, he said no, not eloquently but they really didn't give him much time to say hire her if you want but I'm the Apprentice.

Couldn't agree more. Rebecca basically did nothing whole season but walking around with crutches.

Time to rez the thread for the new season :)

I think that Brent will be gone within 4 episodes. The Donald doesn't hire fat people :)
