I knew a girl that liked to hurt people physically. She scratched me all the time with her nails. Stabbed my roommate with a pen. Beat up some other poor dude (read: bleeding a lil).

My ex had an emotional affair with a previous boyfriend then tried to blame me for it. Needless to say, we are no longer together.
Not trying to garner pity but I'm not sure I will ever find true love, or more to the point, if I really want to! :laugh: Been through the grinder so many times... geez, maybe it's just easier being alone and catching some strange every once in a while, lol.

Women have equal rights unless there are kids involved. Then they are helpless victims. Even if they wanted the divorce. Even if it's because they're boinking your best friend, dad, another woman, the football team or a judge.
They can leave you, start divorce proceedings and proceed to shack up with anything that walks. But you're not going to see the kids if there's even a hint that there's been another woman in your presence in the last 30 days.
You're responsible for financial support of your children you had together. But you may be responsible for the support of her children from a previous marriage if you've acted as a father towards them, her ex doesn't feel like paying or a host of other reasons.
You may be liable for child support for a child that you can prove you did not father. After all, someone's got to and it ain't gonna be her.
But I'm not bitter.

I have to take responsibility because I did not break up with her.
Ex-fiancee and I started dating again back in college. She got all religious and righteous on me the first time around, so I broke up with her. About a month or two later, we started dating again. Although we agreed that we were "exclusive", she mindfscked me for the next two months while she started hanging out with old boyfriends, guys who made it obvious as hell that they wanted a piece of her, and basically just any guy who would give her the time of day. I was lucky to see her one day a week. When I asked her to hang out, she always had plans with one of these other guys (there were 4 or 5 in total, including myself). Whenever I called her, she was always on the other line with one of them and told me she'd call me back. She'd call me back right as she was heading out the door so we could only talk for a few minutes.
I don't think she was trying to "get back" at me for breaking up with her, but the first break-up made her distrustful I think, and she wanted to keep her options out there. One night I just blew up over the phone about it (this was after she returned home after taking one of these guys to dinner with her parents). Apparently they all had a nice long conversation about how she should break up with me, so she did.
We both needed to get away from each other, and in the long run, I'm glad it happened, but those two months were absolutely miserable. I really cared for her a lot, even during the first break up. The first break up was just the result of her drastically changing her personality. I was stupid for thinking the second time around would be any better, but I really missed the "old" version of her.
Anyway, about two weeks after the second break up, I ran into my current wife. I also had a great group of friends that got me drunk out on the town enough to keep my mind off things. It all came together.

I gotta disagree with you there. Imports always have better styling are more refined, better interior, and they always handle better.

Engaged after a year then married for 3. One year of which was in England (my home) the rest of which were here in Wisconsin, USA. Both of us are 22. she left me.
Hmm first off I was left with a couch payment (1800 dollars) on a couch that i thought was ugly and never wanted to buy but she begged for it. Since we had been lazy with it (0% APR until Jan 07, no minimum payments) I only started making payments a few months ago and only just finished paying that off with the help of my fam in the UK. Luckily was able to avoid the deferred finance charge.
Oh and about 2 weeks after leaving me she crashed her car (she hadnt kept up the insurance on it) then stole 300 dollars from my checking account to pay to the guy she hit. I say stole because she pretty much never worked while we were together.
We have a 2 year old boy, she moved 5 hours up north with her loser boyfriend for several months to try and "make money" so that she can support her kid. She recently got back into town with not a penny to her name after quitting the big northern dream. I have my son 90% of the time, generally all week and most weekends.
So yeah, along with the heartbreak i constantly have a thorn in my side and am not looking forward to getting assraped when the divorceage occurs. I have no assets but im sure that doesnt really matter. Right now im just thankful I dont have her lame ass couch payments to make anymore. Thats one bonus for the new year.

Thats it? Hell, I just mortgaged a house, bought all new furniture for it, got her a newer car with payments higher than my own, and we not too long ago took a cruise along Alaska which I'm still paying off.
If the couch is that bad, sell it on craigslist while it still has value. 😛

Because she has no way of supporting herself. She moved into an overcrowded apartment with her mother. I can only assume I will end up having to pay some kind of spousal support or the like. Im sure whatever happens, I will end up having to pay her way. I highly doubt im going to get off scott free.
A similar thing happened to one of my friends. He still hasn't recovered from trust issues with women and it has been quite a while now (5-6 years). I have to believe though that the people I know are actually good and decent people, otherwise the way I would treat them would be wrong.
Well, I've been lucky. I've had several serious girlfriends and I've never had my heart broken. Sure, one ended it because I moved to uni several hundered miles away across sea which hurt, but I could understand why, and it's not as though she cheated on me.
The most pain I've ever had from a woman is from my university girlfriend. We lived together at uni for two years and were very close indeed. University finished, and I had to move home which is kind of abroad. She came with me, but because she was foreign, she really struggled to get a job here. I was flat broke (in fact, thousands in debt) so I couldn't move to where she lived. In the end we were forced to go our separate ways: she went back home and I stayed here. We said that maybe after a year and we'd saved some money we would go travelling, but this never really happened. That was two years ago. We talk fairly often on the phone and get on well. I sometimes sense she still has feelings for me, but she now has a super-healthy good looking boyfriend who's going to join the army in the near future.
When I was on holiday, I even wrote a draft of a letter informing her of my feelings, but decided against sending it for some reason. I have a current girlfirend who's a great girl, but I often find myself thinking of the one that got away.

Worst thing that a girl did to me? Well, compared to what people posted here... nothing really.. just the regular getting dumped by a girl which happens to everyone.. Pissed at the time.. now I just don't care too much...
