I was dating this girl once upon a time (a little less than a year ago actually, last April this happened).
We broke up around January and she immediately hooked up with my best friend at the time, essentially driving us apart. Today, none of our mutual friends have even heard or spoken to him. He has become essentially a hermit, and now they hang out with the guy that she accused of raping her
But anyway, that's a different story.
I hadn't spoken to her in maybe 2 months when suddenly in mid-April there was a knock on the door. She was serving me with a restraining order! I have and would never raise my hand in violence against a girl, and here was this order stating that she feels that I may be dangerous. I hadn't even spoken to her or about her in 2 months!
She filed the order 2 weeks before college finals and 3 weeks before I was taking my first trip to Europe. She had filed the order to stress me out right before finals and because she knew that I would be stopped in the airport and basically interrogated for a few minutes. She knew that this would continue happening until the order was removed. I went to court in early June and she still had the audacity to show her face. I brought two alibi+character witnesses for some random events that she made up on the form and a stack of evidence proving that she had it in for me and that I had ceased contact for over two months before the order was filed. The judge threw out the case on a technicality (she moved out of the county, so the order was pointless), but I made it known the evidence that I had amassed against her so that she wouldn't try this crap again in a different county. Her mother was there and looked PISSED when she found out that her daughter was lying about the restraining order
Cliff Notes:
- Ex Filed false restraining order (which is illegal FYI)
- Made up legal incidents, luckily I had alibi witnesses proving my innocence
- Hadn't spoken to ex in over 2 months before restraining order was filed
- Ex started sleeping with best friend as soon as we broke up
- Ex alienated best friend from all of his friends, none of his previous friends even know how he is doing
- Ex starts hanging out with her former ex as well
- She accused her former ex of rape but never filed an order and now rumor has it she hangs out with them, wtf?
Edit: Here's some other stuff, just for the hell of it
1) First girlfriend cheated on me with another dude
2) Second girlfriend cheated on me with TWO other dudes
3) Third girlfriend cheated on me with another dude but never told me about it, I had to be told by the dude himself, which is strange
4) The ex in the above story cheated on me with the supposed rapist, for some reason I took her back though
My current girlfriend is just about perfect though, unfortunately we may be going to different schools for grad school... she would never cheat on me, I'm now able to identify the behavior that tips off a cheater thanks to so many psychologically screwed up women dating me.
