This I don't get. Sure it kicks ass for a year or so, but then you upgrade again. I wait until things drop off the bleeding-edge-high-price shelf and then buy.Originally posted by: blazert40
probally my current PC, I did everything top of the end, I didn't go cheap on anything. Ended up spending total around $3,600.
Of course, I spent about the same amount of money on a bicycle, but it won't need upgrades in a year.
Yeah, yeah.............that's what we all say about our bicycles.........but in the end, there's ALYWAYS something else to buy for it, needed or not. I know, I'm in the same boat. Upgrade-itis is terrible.

As of right now, my SUV is the most expensive thing that I paid for. I paid for it in full with cash about 3 years ago (twenty something grand plus). The other is my computer that I bought about the same time as the SUV (about 2 grands).
Hopefully, within 5 years I will decide where to live and bought a nice house and gettting married with a kid or two
Edit: I guess I could include my Bachelor degree cost. After scholarships, grants, part time job, ect..I owed about 4 grands in student loan. Just paid it off last month. The MBA was free, courtesy of former employer
The OP really doesn't care anymore. He was bored at the time.Originally posted by: alkemyst

I think the OP wants cash figures spent, not finance plans, revolving CC payments, and loans.
Also SUV is a car.
If we are talking loans/payment plans and still not a house or car, it could get ugly fast especially when there was $300k for a hospital bill (luckily that went with the divorce), $50k in school loans, home improvements of about $50k, I have a shoebox full of things
