Motorcycle. If vehicles are excluded period, I'd also have to say my wifes Engagement ring, followed by the wedding in general.

Actually, a close second would be "vacations" like cruises. We also by wine by the case and will spend a couple K during a week when we stock up.

Besides half of my car (~$1000), a Pioneer home theater system for about $320 and a Hi-8 video camera for about $280.

in a single purchase:

$10000 or so for a HT

$10000 or so for a couch and some misc furniture

$3000 for the PC that became my current one

---

$2000 for a engagement ring

$1600 for a guitar

edit: These are cash payments...I think some may be mentioning payment plans and loans taken out....

In that order.

Ah, no car, basically just the engagement ring then ~$1500. I'm not a big spender!
And that's why it's called the Skoorb effect. :)
I bet he found that engagement ring in Hot Deals too, lol. Or FSFT!

Since a 486 will cost you about $0.10, I'm guessing you're not a big spender.

Sweet. Did you get one of the Polars with the nightvision mode? Kinda useless, but handy if you're doing a night ride and need to know what time it is. :p
