T-Mobile gave out 5.99 credits for Vudu rentals, but that only covers SD quality for anything I want to see. Eff that.
It's great for the kids though. I'm always glad to get a Vudu or Fandango rental. It beats having to go to Redbox which is a 5-minute drive away.T-Mobile gave out 5.99 credits for Vudu rentals, but that only covers SD quality for anything I want to see. Eff that.

Facebook Will Be Back SoonFacebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few minutes. In the meantime, read more about why you're seeing this message. Thanks for your patience as we improve the site.
Yeah, for 20-30 minutes. I was getting totally blank webpages in Firefox. It's like FB didn't exist (except no 404s). Switching to IE finally got me that error message I posted. That's when I realized it wasn't an adblock issue on my end.Oh man did FB actually go down? I have a feeling a lot of people's F5 keys must be worn out after that.![]()
lol the counseling business would explode. The wife, a licensed therapist, already credits a lot of marital problems to FB.Yeah, for 20-30 minutes. I was getting totally blank webpages in Firefox. Implode, you mean? For me, I blame IRC for my marital problem. Facebook may be a popular tool, but the real threat is basically online connectedness.lol the counseling business would explode. The wife, a licensed therapist, already credits a lot of marital problems to FB.

You know who keeps the universal service charge, right?WTH?
Verizon cell bill:
Monthly Federal Universal Service Charge on interstate & international telecom charges (varies quarterly based on FCC rate).....18.8% per device
Really? 18%???????
You probably did this already, but I've had similar problems when my DVI or HDMI cable comes loose. If you unplug the monitor, reseat the connections and plug it back in and still have the problem then it's probably the monitor. Although to be safe I'd also try a different video card that you know works. The main computer (desktop) 27" flat screen monitor just went down for no reason. Just turned it on yesterday after work and the whole screen was just white with lines, no noise, no smoke, nothing. Turned it off and turned it back on several times but the same result.
Damn you HP. Broken right after the 1 year limit warranty. I purchased the darn thing in June of 2016.
Now I will have to file a claim with Citibank credit card warranty extension and have to use the 15" screen laptop until the new LG 27" monitor from NewEgg comes in. Whaaaaaaaaaaa <sad panda>
Which playback device were you using? Did you set it to the default device?Overall a terrible experience, never figured out the issue. Seems half the programs in windows 10 are streamlined to the point of being useless, like there's no menu bar or anything. According to Google results it seems a lot of people have mic issues in Windows 10, but all the stuff it says to try is stuff I had already tried but it still didn't work. Gave up.

I had to deal with windows 10.
Seriously such a convoluted OS, and all the options are missing. Like I was trying to troubleshoot a mic issue, figured there would be something like Sound Recorder, but there is not even an "accessories" category in the start menu, there are NO categories, it's just a huge list. I find a recorder program but it's so ridiculously useless. It has a big record button, but it does not tell you anything. No spectrum, nothing. Basically I was trying to troubleshoot why the mic was not working. After some digging I found the recording devices setting, and the little graph was moving when I talked so I know the hardware was fine, yet it did not work in any programs. Then did some more digging and found that you have to give permission to each app, but not all of them were even listed. Some of the ones that didn't work were also enabled, so that didn't help. To troubleshoot better I installed Audacity, because at least it tells me more of what's going on such as showing sound wave spectrum. But that didn't work, and the app was not even listed in the permission thing anyway.

I will never use Winblows 10. I have read countless issues about this and that, forced updates, privacy, you name it. Despite all that there are scores of people that always have to belittle you and say things like, "it has a smaller footprint, you should always use updates, updating is a no brainer", and all this hyperbole. No thanks. I'll stick with 7 for as long as I can.
I just seen that a new update causes a cycle of BSODs. LMAO! Do they not test these so-called "updates."
