Seriously, this past week using ATOT feels like having AOL dial up on a bad night for them. And yet ATOT still loads like we are all using a 56k modem.

I posted a few weeks ago in this thread about getting a new ISP with a new wifi 6 router. My home (built last year) was pre-wired for a WAP in the ceiling in the living room so I figured I would take advantage of it. I started looking for some ceiling mounted POE WAP's so I didn't have to worry about running power. I also wanted something with mesh capability so we didn't have worry about switching networks when going from room to room.
Ended up with a TP-Link WAP/Router...Here is a speed test from my phone while sitting on the couch...I think I was getting around 550 mbps on the couch before the WAP...

Junkie sabotage or theft? There's apparently damage at one of our cell sites and door is wide open
Man, seriously if I had the guts for the adventure of my life, I would come to Canada on a visit visa, escape into the woods and live the rest of my life treating each day as my last. It sure would be an interesting life!Probably junkie. Ended up calling one of my coworkers to go check the sites in the area, he found one of the cell sites had a container that was set on fire, there was already a ticket to have that container removed since someone had decided to live in it. No other damage to the building though but there was a door that was not closed properly. Tons of graffiti on the door too but that's probably old. It was the site further down the same road as substation, didn't realize the junkies were going that far now. It's kind of a trek on foot since it's up a hill too. Junkies sometimes put more work into their life style than if they got clean and actually got a real job.

And hey, maybe I could locate your house and steal food from your fridge whenever I saw you leaving your house![]()
I'd feel bad for the crackheads if you did.Just need to buy a house across from a crackhouse and it would be quite the adventure. One of the ones I pass by when going to work had 4 cop cars at it the other day. If I lived across from one I would just setup a live web cam lol.

I wish fireworks were legal here, it sounds like America really has a lot more fun than we do.![]()
Google Gemini says
In Ontario, the legality of fireworks depends on the type of firework and the location and time of year. Consumer fireworks (those typically used at home) can be set off on private property on Victoria Day, Canada Day, and the day before and after these holidays, between dusk and 11 p.m., without a permit. For any other day or location, a permit is usually required. Display fireworks, used for large public displays, require permits and certified operators

That's specific to Ontario, most cities prohibit it.
That said, I technically could set some off my off grid land (unorganized township). I don't have a lake to set them off over though so I probably wouldn't try it.
In the early 80s, we lived along the Salmon River in central Idaho. One of the small resorts wanted to do a fireworks display for its guests, but because of cost, invited some of the locals to come shoot off their own fireworks to supplement theirs. We were all shooting them off over the Salmon River…but, of course, many of them made it to the other side…and it wasn’t long before the hillside was on fire…and growing fast. Needless to say, we all scattered…leaving the resort to deal with the fire department. One of the disadvantages of living near lots of tree is no burn order and no fireworks order.
No I travel all over the 4 NW states and California, but I am not the holdup. I do block the view ahead and more of a PITA to pass. My goal is to make that impractical. You look like more of an RV parker
I was stuck behind someone in an RV going 14 miles per hour in a 40 on the back roads I take to and from work.
