Weird. I just checked and the base price is $39,974. $100 dollars to reserve one.
That's essentially a stripped down commercial truck. The next trim level with some consumer comfort is the XLT starts at $53k. There's not much detail on the difference yet but I would guess people wouldn't want to drive a stripped down fleet truck. Knowing Ford every little things will be an add-on options for dealers to make more money.

Go check out the Pro model. That's the $40k version.
I don't know what you mean by "consumer comfort". The truck I drive now has hand crank windows, door locks I have to actually push down with my finger, and rubber floor mats. It also has a heater, air conditioning, and a very comfortable seat. That's all the comfort I need.
If you want to spend $13k on options that's great, I sure as hell won't begrudge you spending your own money, but lets not pretend that those options make the truck any better or worse. Those are things you buy when you have a money to throw around. I have other things I throw my excess cash at.

Congrats! It's an awesome feeling when you know it's a done deal. I still feel it's surreal that I own 40 acres now. It was a dream for a while and only a dream, and now it's actually realized.
Indeed!
This thing has spiraled off in a different direction. We were wanting a place to build our home, but this is zoned so we can subdivide half of it and end up ahead of the game. I can do all the development work myself.

Took a quick look at the Pro on their site and it says "comes with durable vinyl seating". $40k for vinyl seating, really? I'd rather throw my "excess cash" at a used decked out F-150 Lariat ICE truck instead of that bare fleet electric truck for that kind of money. But to each his own.

I wouldn't have anything but vinyl seats in any truck.

Lots and lots of bong hits ?!? :p

Bake up a batch of edibles ?!?

Not need more for a few weeks to a month ?!? :D

You DID ask! ;)
An ounce of good pot would do me probably close to a year. I wouldn't even do a bong hit of good stuff, it's already easy to accidentally get higher than I wanted with one hit from a bubbler. I guess if you're a wake-n-baker, you'd probably go through it faster...
