Nothing really … I’ve had good luck with these shortages. Got my 3080 at the old $800 MSRP last year. 5900X and PS5 too. The local Microcenter was very helpful! We did have to wait a couple months for some backordered flooring after my basement flooded in July, so that was annoying not having use of a third of my house. Not sure if that’s a normal wait though.

It's pretty miserable. Down on your knees bent over every half hour for a week sucks huge. Forget all about sleeping until exhaustion forces you to pass out. When your walking the top plates of a shaky wall and that shit hits it's down right scary. All of a sudden that hard hat you left on the seat of your truck seems really important.
Fun times.

Remodel my entire 111 year old house, starting with the foundation. A major earthquake is overdue here and I'm nervous that the whole house will crumble. I have bought EQ insurance for around 3 years straight, but I'm not confident, and besides, if the house falls, I may perish in the process.

Refrigerator. Constantly in and out of stock and never on sale.
When I bought my house 21 years ago, I had $1000 left (mortgage fell through and I cobbled the cash together to buy outright). I immediately bought an unboxed as new fridge with that grand (I did have a 1/2 decent full time job). They delivered it and I made the delivery guys switch the door so the hinge was on the left. They grumbled, but I wouldn't budge. It was part of the deal!

Land / new house for my growing family. No way I'm buying with these prices. Will also want a new SUV or something for my wife soon too. Thankfully she is cheap and doesn't mind waiting.

the right piece of real estate, raw land in this case. We have an offer in that expires tonight and it has been a nerve wracking wait.
