I ordered a retail e6700 on 7/27. ClubIT said it was in stock, but could not be shipped until the 7th due to Intel's rules. They maintained this story up until Friday the 4th. On Friday, I got a phone call from them saying that they only received OEM e6700s from Intel and that retail e6700s have been delayed. They won't be shipping me anything on Monday. So obviously, they never actually had the retail e6700 in stock despite what they said on the phone and on their website.

Edit: This isn't meant to evaluate ClubIT since I haven't dealt with them. I actually have heard good things about them and I believe they were fairly certain about the incoming shipment. ****** happens and they're now about to get hit by serious backlash, I guess. Whose fault? (Go figure
