Walmart is in the business is selling things. They are already going above and beyond the call of duty accepting any returns without a receipt. The solution? Get 1 more friend and have each one return a game seperately. Or wait until after Christmas when the return policy is relaxed for gift returns.
that might be the best idea since there aren't any other games out right now he wants anyway

Did Walmart sell the PS3 in a bundle? If so, you have your answer.
i am not sure what they did in store but online their sold out bundle is over $1,400! but almost everyone sold it as a bundle. Yes he could be htinking we tried to return a part of a bundle but there is no way to prove it and he can't assume that we are just like he can't assume that we stole them or that we are tring to ripp them off, we are customers.

they can do whatever the fvck they want, including throwing you out of the store.
oh stfu. they could also not have let him in the store in the first place but they did and they let him buy 3 games, he became a customer and deserves to be treated liek one and everyone else takes make items without receipts including walmart but THAT assis. manager wanted to be a prick. If they can sell him 3 games at once they can take back 3 games at once.
The store I worked at didn't have to take back anything without a receipt...its completely up to the manager on call.
see he didn't even put it that way, he wasn't even polite, he didn't try and explain anything, he walked up with an attitude after we waited patiently for 20 mins on him, said he wouldn't take it, when i asked him why not he was sug about it and said they were "high ticket" items and he wouldn't take it, when i started asking him about their policy etc is when he said he would take 1 and only 1 game back but it was "his call and no one else's."
The reason places like walmart take back items without a receipt is to keep customers, because it is common practice at almost every store in the US (like kmart, target, etc, all their rivals), and because people do lose the receipt. You don't want to screw a customer cuz they lost the receipt. You don't walk away happy though just cuz you are a customer which is why they won't just give you cash anymore or credit your card (even costco only gives store credit or amex credit if you do not have a receipt which changed a year ago) so it wasn't like we wanted cash, we wanted the damn credit/exchange
