Ok peeps - use the Age of Empires II - Age of Kings game. It has a $20 rebate too, and is a better game in my humble opinion.

It is $5 more that Asherons Call, but surely you cheap bastards can pony up an extra Lincoln

<< Make sure you keep copies of all your VisionTek rebate docs and follow up on the rebate. I bought this card during the BB black Friday sale and sent the rebate on 11/25. When it showed up in wheresmyrebate.com it had an estimated mail date of 2/17. I had to call them today to remind them it was overdue. >>

Are the visiontek rebates really that unreliable? Does anyone else have any experience with their rebates? It sounds kind of risky so far and $50 is a lot of money to get screwed out of if the rebate should fail.

Ok... I got in on this deal.

Got the 6564 and a 340w Enlight PS total after Discount - $178.90 Less $50 MIR brings it to $128.90 shipped for a great Video Card and a new PS, Very Nice!

Does anyone know how good the Enlight 340w PS is? Copy said "Athlon XP Approved"

Once I got back home, this deal just kepting ringing in my head: "my dad's getting a Geforce3 card for ~$90"...

TampaFlash, LMK how loud that PS is, that would go perfect with my setup. I got in on a deal a while ago for a case w/o PS. I'm gonna be running 2-3 HDDs, DVD, CDR, 2 sticks RAM, the 8500, and a P4. Does this PS support P4's?

great this deal is. I got this same card 2 months ago for $150 and thought I was getting a deal. Luckily I sold it to a friend for $160 and his 32 meg GTS.

Now once he pays me back I can get this again and have $70 to spare, this rocks.

What are the Terms & Conditions on this UBid rebate. Is it for first time buyers or anything like that? A few years ago I won an auction on an IBM monitor at UBid. I was very excited until they reneged on the deal. ever since I have been very skeptical of ordering/bidding on anything from them.

Amex Blue pricematch the G3 to the one here:
($188.95-149.00 = $39.95 back)

$93.90 - $39.95 = $53.95 final price.

does the $50 instant rebate keep ya from doin this w/ amex blue?

N8, I think you may have trouble with the Amex Pricematch because they will look at the $50 off coupon -- your total charge on the card is only $163.90 and then you will have to convince them that this total was ALL for the video card to PM from that amount. That will require some form of misleading information, but maybe it will work and then you can get back $16.

What was the caveat re the "New Rochelle" rebate? Is that a problematic company? I did a goolge search on "new rochelle" and "rebate" and it seems like there a many rebates through that rebate company.

Any one have any experience with them?

I've had 2 enlights, a 250 and a 300
Both sucked, and just eventually kept giving more and more unstability

I eventually had my t-bird 750 running at 700mhz, 1.5v for the system to be stable with the 300watt one

Replaced it with an antec 400, never had a problem (even with my xp1600@1650mhz 1.95v)

However, the 340watt is probably pretty good
