None of those guys can beat me up with 1 hand. I'm sure there is at least one guy who I can beat down. Especially if I trained. Now lets see how many of them can actually score 143 on an IQ test.

A boxer with 1 year experience will rape "Kata Karate" or kung fu or any other non-contact sport. You just don't learn how to fight by doing theoretical training.

I don't claim I can beat either mma or seal guy. But I place my bets on MMA elite and I've given my reasons.

1. Learn grammar.

2. It's Krav Maga. Crav Maga does not exist.

3. Krav is made for practical military/street defense, and is the primary art of the Israeli military. It draws on multiple martial arts, not just Jiujitsu. Also, IIRC Jiujitsu was made by samurai's way back when as the most practical means of fighting in armor. While it may be somewhat updated, you don't see any military training in Jiujitsu.

4. We're not talking about an MMA match, we're talking about a street fight with no rules. MMA is a sport.

5. An elite MMA fighter as you describe wouldn't go down easily, but IMO other variables notwithstanding the SEAL would still win.

God I'm enumerating a lot today.

1. With the moderate training I've had and my sparring experience, in a no rules fight I'm pretty sure I could take you down.

2. I know a few Army grunts who are extremely sharp/intelligent, let alone experienced Navy SEALS.

3. You scored 143 on an IQ test? Lulz. Your responses here proven otherwise. That or the test was meant for 12 year olds.

seeing as you are my intellectual inferior, I don't expect you to understand how an IQ test works.

IQ tests are based on numerous things, pattern recognition, speed, history, etc. Why not settle this like men in a game of yahoo chess? For all of ATOT to watch your humiliation.

Yes, because I have nothing better to do with my time than prove I'm smarter than morons via a game of virtual chess.

Obviously you don't know how an IQ test works either, or you've never heard of the theory of multiple intelligences.

1. IQ tests vary greatly and are not necessarily a good measure of overall intelligence.
2. Chess predominantly tests logical/mathematical intelligence. That leaves 7 more to be tested.

Also, being intelligent doesn't make you intellectual or smart. I know plenty of intelligent people with lots potential who are going nowhere.

I'm confident enough in my intellectual abilities to know that I don't need to prove my intelligence to anyone, you least of all.

However, the fact that you feel the need to prove your intellectual superiority to a stranger on a web-forum says loads about you.

It says I'm not a pompous pseudo intellectual like yourself.

Confident? More like delusions of false grandeur.

That doesn't even make sense. Where did I mention any grandeur? I never claimed to be Einstein or Mozart, nor did I claim "magnificence" (the dictionary definition of grandeur) of any type.

You call me pompous? Lol. You called me your "intellectual inferior" with no basis whatsoever. You then attempted to provide a basis by challenging me to a chess match. Now you call me "pseudo intellectual", also with no basis whatsoever.

um, if you're beating guys with one hand then you probably are'nt sleeping with (or even interested in) beautiful women. on a lighter note, I did'nt think you had to train to qualify for that kind of beating :Q

And you are a moron for thinking that a game of yahoo chess is a good test of one's IQ. If you've been playing chess for years and the your opponent has never played, how's that a fair test?

If the UFC guys use military trainers, than I'd still go with the seal if its a real world situation. If it's in the ring, the UFC guy.

you are correct a Krav Maga fighter would loose in UFC badly, that's because 95% of what they're taught isn't allowed in the octagon. UFC & the Athletic Commission frown upon what they do. Ripping off a dudes nutts, eye gouging and small joint manipulation to name a few things are against the unified MMA rules in the US. Even in something like Rio Heroes which is much more brutal when it comes to what's allowed, pure Krav Maga wouldn't be allowed. Nobody in UFC trains to inflict instant near fatal damage, as they train to fight in a cage where there are rules. Krav Maga dudes don't train to fight for fun, it's life or death.

As for you saying people who train in a disipline that's mostly non-contact wouldn't do well in MMA. Look at Machida, he's almost all Karate and still manages to whoop ass.

BJJ isn't the end all be all of fight, it works extremly well in MMA because of submission, but in an all out street brawl going for an arm bar won't mean much when the dude your fighting is trying to snap your fingers off.

In a Street Fight, 8/10 I'd put my money on a Krav maga dude, the other 2 times a BJJ practitioner would be able to sink in a RNC put the guy to sleep.

Didn't read through the entire thread so I'll come out and say it, hopefully no one else has.

Jason Bourne wins.:D

He would take both of them out at the same time.

MMA fighter easily. Seals aren't trained as extensively in hand-to-hand combat as a MMA fighter nor do they practice this craft as extensively as a MMA fighter.

Seal kills MMA poser in 60 seconds or less. We will never see this fight, the Seal will just leave the body to be found later......

Some of you kids need to turn off the damn TV.

Or you should realize that a Seal spends a whole lot more time training with weapons and tactics than hand-to-hand combat. I would bet that 1% of them ever use hand-to-hand combat in missions.

You should spend less time watching tv and doing a little research.
