What, didn't you read Ausm's and Robor's posts? ANY rejection of any part of the liberal/gay rights agenda - whether it's gay marriage or explaining fisting to school children - is equivalent to supporting the death penalty for homosexuality. In fact, our refusal to embrace gay marriage in particular no doubt drove the Ugandans to do this. You can't blame them, they're such children.

Since I support gay marriage but not explaining fisting to school children, I demand to be considered responsible only for Ugandans voting to beat the tar out of homosexuals; it's those anti marriage equality right wing extremist wing nut hate mongers that are responsible for the death penalty thing. Let's get 'em!

What the hell are you making up? I've repatedly and consistently posted my abhorrance for Islamic nations on this, and haven't seen one person liberal or otherwise say what you claim.

I call bs on that. Killing gays for being gay in Africa is no better/worse than killing a woman for adultery in the ME. They're both horrible and barbaric acts.

Can you show a single solitary post where someone on here defended or brushed off gay people being stoned to death in an islamic country? Maybe there's some crazy guy on here who said that once, but for the life of me I can't remember anyone ever taking such a horrible position.

I think you are once again inventing a position for people you disagree with to hold.

Your use of slang to mock my saying LIBERAL shows your immaturity in being able to debate a subject. A post comes up about Muslims and the LIBERALS say we shouldn't judge them and condemn them just because of their religion or culture. Facts are, Muslim nations practice Sharia Law which advocates stoning, cutting out tounges, chopping off hands and feet and whipping. Even if the person is the VICTIM of a crime like rape.
You can't pick and choose what portions of a culture you say we should embrace and which we shouldn't. The CULTURE as a whole embraces what we see as good and bad and you have to evaluate the WHOLE culture based on it's totality because that is what defines the culture. Advocating tolerance of Muslim nations (culture) is advocating a culture that murders people and mutilates people. A true Muslim would embrace Sharia Law as it is what The Prophet Mohammad and the Koran require to be a faithful Muslim.

Sure, liberals on average believe that moral relativism comes into play somewhat, but overall I think that most 'liberals' here in the US do see that as having limits. There are some universal moral imperatives that shouldn't change between cultures.

Uhmmm, yes you can. On what planet did you come up with the idea that you aren't allowed to praise some aspects of a culture and condemn others? Was I out sick the day this rule was made up? That's the stupidest thing I've heard all day.

From what you've just written I'd be willing to bet money you've never visited a Muslim country in your whole life.
