Trump administration seen as more truthful than news media

I watched it and read the transcript. He did not quote candidate Trump.

That is correct in a completely meaningless way. The devotion of Trump voters is beyond reason & he knows it, exploits it in way that only a great con artist can.

When he says "I love the poorly educated" he doesn't mention why, either, because they're his easiest marks.

I'm glad to know you're not alone. Just for the record i'm a US citizen, born in Los Angeles County from parents born in Omaha, Nebraska.

Let me guess: you're mostly a conservative as it seems like a good way to be an edgy/rebellious teen in CA.

I did the same, except opposite growing up in rural TX... 😀

I don't find this difficult to believe, there are very few sources that present relatively unbiased unsensationalized news anymore.

CNN used to be my general source for news with other sources when there's something interesting, but I find CNN unpalatable now. It's really gone downhill, BBC is the closest thing to a good source right now.

Perhaps some of that, but you also need to look at the reactions from the far left of center usual suspects that post in here. I have previously stated in these forums that I didn't support Trump early on, didn't vote for him in the Primary, don't like him and actually think he's something of a jerk. That being said I still support most of what he's doing and in no way, shape, matter or form do I think he's close to being as bad as those usual suspects seem to think. They've actually pushed him to a point that he has absolutely no reason at all to try to compromise with the political left in this country. That well has been so poisoned by the left that he can't even walk past it, let alone try to drink from it.

Yeh, CNN went to Hell when they started asking Trump the wrong questions, obviously.

The kind of question that CNN asks President Trump : Are you dangerously insane or only retarded?

The kind of question CNN asked President Obama : We like puppies, do you like puppies?

Fake post.

That follows the general rule of propaganda- when you need to lie, tell a whopper & hold to it.

The notion that Trump ever intended any sort of compromise is in the dust a mere 3 weeks into his tenure. He threw it there & pissed on it to mark his territory.

That's not even to mention the astounding suckage of his policy so far.

No, just no, dude. As in "the Party of No"...

The Republicans have made it their main agenda for the past 8 years to obstruct and to prevent any compromise with the left. You can place any blame on them for lack of compromise from the left in the past 2 weeks.

You cannot be serious..

The left made him govern like a maniac?? In case you haven't noticed he's been doing it since he announced? Or were you asleep back then? He's a 70 year old thin skinned narcissist who isn't going to change. Nobody can make him change.

Keep playing the cello until the water is up to your neck.

He can't be serious, he dwells in the glow of not being serious.

I hope.

I have to say I LOVE this. You've found a way to blame the left for the right going insane.

Perfect.

I agree with that for the most part [media not being honest]. The media is not trustworthy, both the left leaning media and the right leaning media [Foxnews/CNN etc] - its all about pushing a agenda nowadays or preaching their political views. I find the news from prior decades refreshing actually, try watching a documentary from the 1970s from CNN or PBS and the quality is great, not very biased and informative. Im not old either, i was born in the 80s but quality wise there is a difference and it stems back to the anchors themselves [and surely, their bosses]. The era when people like Roger Mudd was dominant, seemed to be when the media was at its height and had decent ethics and quality. Now when you see Anderson Cooper come on air, or Bill O'Riley, you know what you are getting and its not a "pretend to be unbiased", its all out there now.

Heres one thing i wonder about, and its minor overall but im not a journalist and i have noticed it - at these anti-Trump protests, who is paying for all of those mass produced signs? Nationwide, and even internationally at London and Paris - the protesters are waving the same signs as they do in every city in this country...Somebody is paying for it, who? Why have no journalists even bothered to check that out, there is big money being spent to get a message out that is on those signs. THAT is investigative journalism and it is seemingly dead now. But the problem is on both sides.

With formerly respectable (if biased) organizations like CNN going all-out fake news / tabloid, I guess this is not surprising.
>>

Says the guy who's probably reading Infowars and Breitbart for his daily news, I assume...

And...just to add....using the word "truthful" and "Trump administration" in one sentence....that's a stellar feat!
Maybe to actually being able to assess what is truthful, one would need the ability to actually recognize what is truthful and what isn't.
Tip: The people buying that coal mining is coming back to PA or that Hillary is performing satanic rituals sure don't have this ability.

I dont think you were replying to me, but i would put Breitbart and CNN in the same box for fairness...Which isnt saying much. I find more truth in the comments section for news articles than the articles themselves usually, its almost a guarantee anymore that News stories have omitted information and yet the comments usually call it out. Im sure most people have noticed this and its not just me [thank god for comments right??].

It does say alot, it says alot about you and its not positive. Brietbart isn't even in the same league as fox and fox imo, is bottom of the barrel of the major news networks.

Let's (attempt to) get on a common ground here, and I state that "Trump is extreme"...and I assume that you guys also think Trump "is extreme", but now compared to traditional politicians, a character trait that you deem as positive. Correct?

Don't you think is odd that you guys now are already so far that you compartmentalize anyone who is opposing Trump as "the left"?
Do you really think that anyone who has any of the countless reasons not to be happy with Trump "is left" ? <-- not that "being left" would actually be a negative character attribute anyway.

Where has the healthy middle in the US gone? It's now supporting Trump...or being "left"?

Lol you are ignorant.
And i never said i view Breitbart, just that CNN is garbage...utter garbage. CNN is SO bad, that it had a hand in giving questions to Hillary Clinton at TWO debates...They helped her CHEAT! Poor Bernie Sanders!! Lol. Go CNN! Actually, they are worse than Breitbart, atleast Breitbart did not help a [supposedly] honest candidate cheat at two debates. And considering old hillary is a cheater, good for her that she lost. She is nearly 70 years old and that old woman knew better.

If you like CNN - then says alot about you - that you are easily [mis]led.
