Look up confirmation bias. It's a thing. And you've got it... bad.

It's time to wake up and realize this: The mainstream media is now the ONLY voice that is actually proven to be independant and free from our government.

The right wing is actually proving it has lied all along about the media and, by it's own fascist actions, has vindicated the media at large in just one short month.

By declaring the media the "enemy of the people" and excluding any outlet he doesn't like, Trump has, singlehandedly, vindicated them in the shortest amount of time imaginable. That single act gave me more respect for the media than I have ever had. He's also exposed which media are his toadies.

Speak for yourself about confirmation bias. Trust in the media is at an all time low where only 8% have a "great deal of trust" in the media and 24% have a "fair amount of trust"
http://www.gallup.com/poll/195542/americans-trust-mass-media-sinks-new-low.aspx

And yet, according to more Gallup data, 53% of Americans disapprove of Trump's performance. He hasn't had more approval than disapproval since shortly after inauguration... and remember, he set a modern-day record for the quickest time to reaching majority disapproval (8 days; Bill Clinton took 573 days, Obama took 936).

If most people don't really trust the media, they're not letting that get in the way of disliking Trump. Turns out that doing things your country hates will matter more than how those actions are spun.

Bernie Sanders agrees that the corporate media is a problem and has been for some time. President Trump is the only major politician standing up to them, and yet he denounces President Trump. Bernie Sanders is a joke.

Umm, do you not see the difference between problem and enemy?
Also, do you struggle with deciphering between a tantrum and "standing up" to someone? Does this mean you"stand up" to people on the regular? Do you get time outs for it?

Trump is not "standing up" to the media. He's trying to stifle anyone who disagrees with him, anyone who points out his obvious lies.

There is a massive, massive difference between healthy criticism of the media and attempting to silence or control it. You do not have to praise Trump to disagree with how the media handles the news.

Sanders' issue is that the mainstream media tends to dance around important problems like income inequality and education in favor of the latest shocking murder or celebrity news. Basically, that it's more interested in what sells than what actually affects your daily life. Ironically, Trump may have helped the media improve itself a bit, since we're seeing more political reporting and investigative journalism given Trump's many lies and other ethical problems.

He nailed it. You are pussy personified. Why hasn't Trump grabbed you by your entire pussy? You are the biggest, stankiest pussy around here. He gave good advice, get back down in the cellar where you belong and stop your crying.

Is this a common debate method? I have under utilized it in my adult life. Though we can agree that many Republican Politicians seem to think running and hiding from their constituents is a successful way to serve them yes? No one told them to run.

No. The media does have its problems but the reasons Sanders and Trump criticize them are not the same. Trumps issue with the media is when they point out his dumb statements, actions and general ignorance of what it takes to run the country. Sanders problem with the media was their lack of focus on his campaign and run for the presidency. Sanders issues with the media are more substantive while Trumps are basically petty and an inability to take valid criticism.

You mean the exact same way the Democrats did back during the Tea Party days?
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/07/us/politics/07townhall.html
Sure, why not. You make a solid argument. Turn about is fair play and screw the people. Got it! You've a gift for seeing the big picture. It seems a productive approach. I'm sure you do well in your personal relationships with that 5 year old mentality. It's definitely how an entire country's political system should elementary-school-playground this sh.. stuff.

Being butthurt about what the Dems did, or what the Republicans did throughout Obama's Presidency changes nothing about today. Don't you think it's time they grow the begeezuz up? Wouldn't you prefer they concentrate on today and tomorrow rather than retaliation? Think... on... it. Take your time. Let your better self rise to the surface... Now answer, quickly if you please before you can stuff it away where you may think it belongs.

The protesters at the Republican town halls aren't looking for a debate or information or anything except loud and obnoxious protests to be videoed and played on news programs and YouTube. Have you watched any of them? loud screaming, foul language and play acting for the cameras. Big deal, it's not new, it's not news and it's a waste of every ones time. Give them an address and tell them to write a letter. The politicians are better off helping their constituents that need help, not poseurs for the media.
