I pointed out repeatedly that any objective observer would have known what he meant, and not just his supporters. This includes the media. Try having a little bit of integrity.

You're obviously incorrect because that's not what happened. It's just what you want to believe, that poor Donald is soooo misunderstood & picked upon, particularly by the hostile media, the real enemy of the people.

When I first saw it I immediately asked myself "What happened last night in Sweden?" That's not at all partisan. I figured I'd missed something. It turned out I hadn't missed a damned thing other than Trumpian bullshit.

This from a guy that thinks when President Trump said "people will say Merry Christmas again" That it was a solid campaign promise.

It's hard for the deranged anti-Trumpers, but sometimes you actually have to use your own judgement.

Needs more straw.

'Try having a little bit of integrity by mangling Trump's sentence beyond recognition and inventing new things for him to say'.

The best thing about it for Trump is that the Sweden remark masks an outright lie he uttered at the same time-

We’ve allowed thousands and thousands of people into our country and there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.

That's absolutely false no matter how thoroughly his followers have been propagandized into believing that it's true.

I don't care if you lot are too stupid or dishonest to see or acknowledge the obvious. I'm concerned about media lies and misrepresentations.

Be sure to add Sweden to the list of 'too stupid and too dishonest', lol.

I'm concerned with lies and misrepresentations about the media where people try to argue that if the media DOESN'T mangle someone's statement beyond recognition to make it not a lie that somehow THEY are the dishonest ones. Who knew that every time Trump speaks the media needs to go back and review Fox News's recent coverage and parse whether or not he's referring to one of their shows instead of whatever event he was talking about? hahaha.

You only know that because his remarks were questioned & he elaborated That or you watched that particular episode of Fox News. Had it not been questioned he sure as Hell would have let it stand the way he said it.

It's like 3M illegal votes, the bigly-est inauguration crowd ever, the Bowling Green massacre & the rest of the stream of bullshit intended to deceive.
Oh no doubt, he doesn't care how it was received or perceived. Even when he so publicly tantrums it's not about the information he's putting out in to the world it's always about his poor Orange little feelings and his feelings consist almost entirely of 'adore me or I'll set the country on fire'.

I in no way give this man a pass. Though I don't think he's smart enough to have had a calculated agenda in his free wheeling speechifying about "happening last night in Sweden" he did not care about the ramifications, that he put that information out in to the world, that it could be perceived in a way to help his a-hole stance on immigration and refugees and clearly he doesn't truly care how incredibly ignorant he sounds every time he opens his mouth. And though I perceived what he said as referring to what he had watched the night before does not negate that he still sounded like a buffoon or that his every word should be scrutinised.

I don't watch fox either. All it requires is basic reasoning skills and objectivity.

I despise most FOX but I do have FOX on my favorites channel just to see much Trump butt sucking they are doing. Normally I don't stay long but Bret Baier and Shepard smith seem reasonable. Truthfully I'm surprised they haven't been nudged out of the line up.

Indeed, & you've displayed neither.

Look, it's impossible to defend this turd of a POTUS, and history ain't going to look kindly on lame excuses for his words (and actions, of course).

So like I said then, lack of objectivity.... The truth is the truth. It shouldn't matter who it pertains to. When you understand that then maybe you'll understand why the media is perceived to be roughly as trustworthy as Trump.

If you are unaware of the possible reference he was making, how the hell does basic reasoning and objectivity work?

You're unaware of sweden's migrant crisis?

I'll revise my requirements: basic reasoning skills, objectivity, interest in world affairs.

No, the media is perceived to be considerably more trustworthy than Trump by credible polls. When broken down it isn't even close, actually, since "the media" is very broad and lack of "trust" in it is highly associated with partisanship. Me calling Trump a turd is, at this point in his Presidency, simply a reality. He has done next to nothing that reflects well on the United States or improves the lives of its citizens.

No one is aware of a crisis that doesn't exist, but please feel free to educate the forum.

Call him what you want. Don't pervert the truth because he's a turd.

What has his prospect of improving the lives of citizens got to do with the truth? He won't improve the lives of the average citizen, and most will be worse off, if the us/world survives his presidency, but that's beside the point.

At this point, the Tang One has created the dynamic he has with the press.

I understand wanting to be fair and balanced situationally but he has not earned it nor does he deserve it. You can't inflame the people and not anticipate the fire.

Sweden is letting lots of brown people in need with funny sounding names move to their country. White people in countries other than Sweden are shitting their pants.

For a US example see articles of the invasion of Dearborn MI and more pants shitting.

Huh? I would say it's pretty straight forward to call the POTUS a worthless turd if he doesn't improve the lives of its citizens, especially if he makes them less safe. That's basically the entire point of becoming POTUS.

Btw, what crisis has occurred in Sweden?

I'm aware of their "crisis" and world affairs in general and I still have no idea what trump was referencing and that's being neutral in my objectivity. That leaves basic reasoning skills. Basic reasoning says you don't attribute things to something that was never referenced.

Perhaps you should take your own advice.

The lies & misrepresentations you made up in your head, obviously. Hell- the one about Sweden just ran cover for the bigger one I pointed out at #204.
