We really do not have effective spokespersons or political leaders who can convincingly push back.

Our opposition has command of so many media outlets, platforms and ways to get their message out. They drown us in in hatred.

Thanks Rupert.

Old man, I know neural plasticity is shut at your age so nothing new really parses true in the information cruncher upstairs, still. Two Timer. You have to realize the cesspool you've helped create. At least take responsibility and acknowledge that fact. Its a simple question of honor and dignity.

We all did....
Action reaction, yes, its turtles all the way down.
What matters right now is that the US, and by dominos the entire west, is facing off the internal rise of fascism. Its not a joke. Its not a test. Its where we're at *right now* ... and the threat vector is not socialist AOC no its GQP members like Ron who would rather celebrate 4th of July in Moscow than at home.

Yeah, I somehow missed that...maybe you have some links to share demonstrating the same reactions.

Hilary denied the results of the election? You mean with her concession speech and call to Trump? Calling out election interference, proven, and voter suppression is not denying an election with false fraud charges that so many of your brothers and sisters in the GQP party spread btw. Calling Secretaries of State to ask them to overturn elections, and other legislators across the country. Attacking the Capitol. How do you reconcile this insane difference in your mind.

How do you look in the mirror while constantly lying.

I never said she tried a coup.

Hillary is already denying the 2024 election that nobody is even running for yet.

Hillary Clinton
In 2016, 2.8 million more people voted for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton than Trump, but she lost the determining Electoral College vote. During a September 2019 interview on CBS, she blamed her loss on voting restrictions passed by some states before the 2016 election and Russian hacking of her campaign that was later confirmed by a U.S. Department of Justice investigation.

Trump "knows he’s an illegitimate president," Clinton said. "I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did … I know he knows this wasn’t on the level."

In an October 2020 interview with The Atlantic, Clinton said, "There was a widespread understanding that [the 2016] election was not on the level. We still don’t know what happened … but you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’"

Jimmy Carter
In June 2019, Jimmy Carter, the former Democratic president, said, "There’s no doubt that the Russians did interfere in the election, and I think the interference, although not yet quantified, if fully investigated would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016. He lost the election, and he was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf."

Bernie Sanders
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is an independent who has twice sought the Democratic presidential nomination. During an ABC interview in January 2017, he twice declined to say whether he thought Trump would be "a legitimate president."

"I think he’s going to be inaugurated this week," Sanders said. "I have great concerns, apparently Republicans do as well, and there’s going to be an investigation about the role that Russian hacking played in getting (Trump) elected."

John Lewis
The late Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., said in January 2017 he would not attend Trump’s inauguration. "I do not see this president-elect as a legitimate president," he told NBC. "I think there was a conspiracy on the part of the Russians and others that helped him get elected. That’s not right. That’s not fair. That’s not the open democratic process."

Jerry Nadler
Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said in January 2017 that Trump was legally elected but an "illegitimate" president.

"He was legally elected," Nadler said. "But the Russians weighing in on the election, the Russian attempt to hack the election and, frankly, the FBI’s weighing in on the election make his election illegitimate. But he is the president."

Nadler’s reference to the FBI concerned then-FBI Director James Comey’s disclosure to Congress, 11 days before the 2016 election, that he was reopening an investigation into whether emails stored on Clinton’s personal computer contained classified information.

Maxine Waters
Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., was among seven House Democrats who raised futile objections to the Electoral College count by Congress in January 2017 that certified Trump’s victory. They tried to argue that the election was tainted by Russian interference and voter suppression. They were overruled because none of their objections had required support from a senator.

It will be interesting to watch when the elected mega candidates tear apart the mega world as well. You think electing MEGA will only hurt the dems? Do you think the pain will be confined only to the libs and that MEGA will be spared?
MEGA collects social security. MEGA like their votes counted. MEGA like jobs and good wages and fair taxes. MEGAT's, you are a lot like dems and libs, much more than you might think.

Rick Scott (Sen-R, FL) is determined to "sunset" all social programs brought about by FDR. Republicans have wanted to do this for decades, but now republicans actually can if they win control.
Get use to that word "sunset", you will be hearing it a lot. And people will say, THIS COULD NEVER HAPPEN, believe me... it can and it will happen and Rick Scott will have the power to make it happen should republicans once again rule.

We all know about the "debit ceiling", right?
How every so often that comes around and needs lifting. And how politics holds the lifting of the debit ceiling hostage. And how a government shutdown is threatened. Well kiddies, imagine social security and medicare in the same boat as the debit ceiling? Held hostage every five years, or less. Seniors threatened with payment interruptions. And, payments actually ceasing for possibly months at a time. All this happening over and over every five years. "SUNSET", remember that word.

This is exactly what Rick Scott envisions. This is exactly what republicans in congress envision. This way, in order to re-affirm SS every five years, in order for republicans to allow the continuation of SS every five years, those republicans controlling congress WILL DEMAND that cuts be made to SS and to medicare. PERIOD! No exception. No cuts, then no SS. PERIOD! And no compromise. Seniors will be held hostage on a five-year cycle, on a continue basis, and never ending. Remember, we're talking about seniors here.... SENIORS, for gods sake.

MEGA, be careful what you wish for. Many of you like your SS too.

I suggest you re-read every quote carefully and check for understanding because they don’t say what you think they say (except for Hillary, who you’ll note conceded promptly).

Karie lake refused to answer when asked if she would accept the election results if they showed she lost.

So what? I didn't say that I could sprout wings and fly. Does that mean that I can? No it doesn't.

There is a huge difference between asking for a recount and calling someone illegitimately elected.
