These are the faces of the young killers who kicked a homeless man to death for a dare as he slept outside a supermarket.
Connor Doran, 17, his brother Brandon, 14, and their friend Simon Evans, also 14, were jailed today, along with the Dorans mum, Linda, who had tried to cover up her sons guilt.
The beating left victim, Kevin Bennett, 53, with a fractured eye socket, a collapsed lung and a broken rib cage.
Judge Clement Goldstone QC told the boys: Each of you, by your mindless violence and participation in it, have forfeited the right to enjoy in freedom the rest of your teenage years.
During the trial the jury was told Connor goaded Simon by saying: I bet you havent got it in you to do him in.
The court heard Simon had later told a friend: I started kicking him, I booted him, now hes dead.
Vulnerable Mr Bennett died in hospital six days after the August attack, from blood poisoning which caused organ failure.
The boys were found guilty of murder in February and in the dock today they were told they would only be freed when the Home Secretary decided it was safe to do so.
Simon blinked away tears but Connor and Brandon who had learning difficulties showed no emotion.
Connor was sentenced to a minimum of 12 years, Simon was given at least eight and Brandon received six years for acting as a lookout.

Linda, 42, was jailed for 30 months for perverting the course of justice by providing false alibis for her sons.
She was condemned by the judge as a pathetic and tragic character after it was revealed she now has four sons behind bars, three of them for murder.
Her eldest son, Ryan, 23, was jailed for life last October after he attacked a stranger with a bottle.
Sounds like an awesome family. :\
