Is democrat rule so important that it's worth giving up prosperity for?
You do realize nearly all the wealthy places in the country are democratic?

Is being republican worth giving up your pride and self worth to grovel and beg for money from wealthy democratic cities and states?

link:

The sad truth is republicans are economic failures, basket cases, and dependent on welfare from wealthy democratic cities to survive.

And as you just so aptly demonstrated, so full of hatred for their fellow man they are to stupid to realize they are living in squalor, a pathetic joke we point at laugh at.

The real tragedy of the poor is the poverty of their aspirations

Damn. Takes 86 million from the Feds, denies 90% of people who apply for welfare. Cue the special projects.

Blue states should be able to deny benefits to red states who abuse their red state subsidies to enrich private interests. Repugs always bring up not wanting their tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood, so it's a concept they should understand.

Brett Favre should be ashamed to be involved. The level of misery this corrupt system maintains in places like MS is disgusting. I would have thought he'd cover the interest to be free and clear of the situation, but nope, silly me.
Why do you think Republicans only ever want government money in block grants. So they can spend it any Fn way they want to.

Those that are trying to make Greenman appear racist are in denial about the general real effects of "White Flight". It has real negative impacts on the most vulnerable people which are mostly minorities.

A quick google search has plenty of reading.

That is not to say that some areas have not thrived with minority communities. It isn't the norm for most areas.

The way he says it it implies minorities can't succeed because they are minorities. We know Greenman is not woke enough to understand so many years of economic and social oppression due to racism have done this, and continue to do so dramatically.

He is also trying to tie in democratic rule, as if no cities or states have thrived under democrat rule. He should look at the stats of many key indicators such as education, healthcare and environment, general government services in blue states and many blue cities vs GQP run areas. In fact he is moving to a shithole state. Where he belongs.

We have to go by what he said. What’s funny is you who constantly complain about people putting words into your mouth doing exactly that on greenman’s behalf. He has had over a day now to clarify his statement and has chosen not to do so.

So are you trying to say that white flight doesn't have the negative effects that were explained via the many articles in google.

It's not white flight, it's racism. It's not the lack of white people, it's the overarching system of racism that has been there for centuries and continues to be a strong factor in everything.

White people leaving an area and dropping the local tax base to nearly nothing is white flight.

The reasons are many and one of them is racism. But that isn't the only reason.

With all due respect, it is the only reason. It was official government policy in my lifetime.

And yes, reparations are owed.

Your under estimating the impact of being able to have a mortgage, build equity in your home, and get low interest credit to start a business or etc.

It is just straight up racism.

The people living in these communities were targeted based on the color of their skin. Financial weapons were used against them with the intent of impoverishing them.

While redlining may not be official government policy, it is still an unofficial policy:

Redlining has been replaced with credit score, and credit score doesn't have a number for race.
Home values are determined mostly by simple popularity. The appraised value of a home is based on the selling price of near by homes. If an area isn't popular the price of housing goes down. While that may well be because of racism, it's not policy, it's not a process designed to target blacks, it's a strictly social issue. People tend to naturally segregate. Right here in the city I live in there are areas that are predominantly white, Asian, Black, and Hispanic. I've never thought that was any kind of racism, it's just the way people are.

So what you are saying is that you are either unfamiliar with the term “systemic racism” or you don’t understand how it happens. Perhaps a class on CRT will help to educate you because your post is full of ignorance at best or just plain stupidity at worse.

Yes people just chose to live that way

Sure there are some ethic communities formed willfully over time. But the disparities in wealth and most of the concentration of races and minorities and poverty in certain areas is due to centuries of systemic racism.

You can't talk to the willfully racist and ignorant. It's pointless.

There is a large black population that works on farms? Or they just stayed in the area where they were born?
I don't think I'm seeing your point.
