I've played blacklist. My opinion, graphics are great, they try to bring the stealth back from the first splinter cell but added lots of gadgets and distracting elements. They made some parts of the game force you to use combat. It can be tough but not as tough as the first splinter cell. And I'm a big splinter cell fan. Played through almost all of the games.
Blacklist is 100 times better than conviction but still feels like its missing the original feel of the first game. You get a sense and feel of it in the beginning. But you also have to use combat in some areas. Enemies spot you somewhat easily so that can be frustrating.
The story is great though, and moves along quite nicely. I got it for 27 bucks on eBay through those video game codes for gpu's.
I really liked hitman absolution. I feel like they tried to improve from blood money and they kind of did. There are multiple pathways to complete a mission but the longest I had to hide or wait was 5 minutes. Dressing as someone else will get you spotted if you stay close to those type of characters, for example dress like police, swat won't be suspicious but other police officers will. Which I guess is a little weird.
I was able to get silent assassin ratings on all the missions in absolution, with no combat pretty much. It was very rewarding but took trial and error.
Yeah that would be rewarding. It's possible but it really does take a lot of trial and error and most importantly patience. There were some cool levels. I like the electrified fence part the best.
