Felt really good today despite the failed 315 attempt. 285 went up so easy I was sure I'd get it for a couple. I wonder if the fact that my leg days usually fall on weekdays when I've been on my feet working all day and today is the first time it's fallen on a weekend in a while is the main difference?

There were people on the power rack today, so I had to do the first few sets on the smith machine (ugh). I won't count them.

Same guys were on the power rack again *sigh* Ended up doing some squats on the smith machine and some light front squats after they finished.

Yea. I've been doing one set of 20 rep squats every week or two. Freaking brutal, but effective.

there is a crossfit vid going around of some dude doing a bodyweight squat 100 reps x 1 set .....unreal

Yea, saw that, pretty ridiculous. Must be torturous to stand through something so uncomfortable for such a long time.

9/05/09 - Did a max attempt for the back squat comp. Turned out pretty pathetic actually. :( What gets me is that I completed a 5x5 with relative ease with a weight that's only 30lbs less than what I failed at. :confused:

135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 245x2, 265x1, 285x1, 295xF :( , 265x5x5 = 9940

Today - Just a regular workout, but I nailed 295.

135x10, 185x10, 225x10, 245x5, 275x5, 295x1, 275x1, 225x12 = 11320
