Yeah, I wish I could remember the name of the exercise. You hold a dumb bell in both hands, go down into a squat, "explode" up and swing the weight (like a baseball bat) towards one shoulder. Squat down and repeat going the other way. I do 3 sets of 8 (both ways for 1 rep).

What would I call that?

Sounds like a variation on the sandbag halfmoon, although that doesn't really involve a full squat...

Thanks but that's not the same exercise. I got this one from the ABS Diet book, but I can't find the book since we moved from TX to NY. But the exercise I do does indeed involve a full squat, lots of them...

Today's workout included 59 reps of front squats with 185lbs, plus a warm-up of 135x5, 185x5. Total: 12,515 lbs.

Lots of squatting today. First, I did some OH squats: 95x5, 135x3, 165x2, 185x2, 195x1, 205x1, 215x1, 225x1 = 2420 lbs. Then a metcon that included 84 reps of 185lb front squat plus a warm-up of 135x5, 185x5 = 17140 lbs. Total for today: 19,560 lbs.
