yeah, I've been busy the last week or so myself, so haven't been able to log on. Probably be another week before I get to play again too. Was kind of looking forward to seeing what the game is like post act 1 as well 😀
 
Yeah sorry i did jump ship....though i am around! Found a group of guys ot run raids with and well just works better to hang out with them. Im around though if you ever need anything

That is one reason I've been kinda wary of the authenticator... even tho I'm still using it. Wish there was a way to have a authenticator program on your PC or something as backup.

Anyway, I think I'm the only officer left playing actively? Here's a little to do list for you whenever you get back in. 🙂

Bump my alt Merawen to officer, cause that's where I spend all my time now (will probably become my main TBH).
Bump Chust and Keija to officer. They're among our most active people. I've promoted them to Lieutenant, but I dunno what if any powers that gives them as far as doing invites, etc.

Nooo..... need DPS badly.

As far as authenticator... yeah, I need to remove my old phone and re-add my new Nexus and Prime as authentication sources (restoring the app data via TiBu from a Gingerbread setup to ICS does not work). But then again, my old phone still works over wifi, so it's now a really fancy authentication fob.

I started a jedi shadow, plan to go DPS w/ her. Planned to level her quite a bit tonight, however, I logged in and downloaded the patch and after it completed it said there was an error. I clicked repair, and now i'm re-dowloading 11.54GB of main assets................
 
Undortunately I don't have as much time to play as I like - the bulk of my time is spent sittin there running missions while I do other stuff IRL. When I'm lucky I'll do my daily space missions...

I might just stop trying to quest for a while and just do missions/pvp


Do your companions come with you to war zones?
 
I would like to join the guild dark or light side doesn't matter to me. I played a Smuggler to lv 29 on another server but there was never more than 10-16 on in the zones I was in. This made doing Heroics hard unless you waited till you could solo it.
As far as a Class I really don't care message me and I will role the the one that will be of help.
I started a Jedi counsler That I was going to the Shadow tree but being I am starting back out I can do something else.

I work 12 hr swing so there are time's when I may not be on like when I come up for Night shift. But I also get a 7 days off once a month so I will be on a lot during that time frame.

On the Republic side we seem to be short on DPS characters. But play whatever you enjoy. 🙂 Message Merawen, Merad, Chust or Keija for an invite.
 
In theory every class can DPS. Every AC gets dps skill trees. I *think* Bioware claimed at one point that properly skilled and played DPS output *should* be within something like 5% of each other.

So it's more about how you want to play. Melee or ranged? Stealth with backstabs, etc? I've played a gunslinger and enjoy it but you may want something else since you've already played a smuggler.
 
Ok I will roll a Trooper. I can off spec to heal if the need comes up I belive.

My other question is it worth doing armstech / armortech or what ever they are called.
If it isn't worth the trouble I will do cybertech or biotech.
I will roll the toon after I get off from work tonight.

I think Vinnie Vega and I are both Commandos. I went Combat Medic tree, but not sure about him.

Of course I'm only level 28 and am a complete noob in the game, so can't offer much in the way of guidance.

I just watched some vids on youtube on commandos in PVP if there PVE dps is like it is in PVP they should be very good for ranged dps.

Mortar Volley is insane. Really helps you out with soloing since you can essentially knock out a group of normals before they even know what's coming. :awe:

ok On final thought I will go with a jedi Sentinal I was always in the back ground healing my compaion with the Smugler so up close and personel will be a weclome change.

I will have him up to lv 10 first thing tomarow.

I kinda need to no if anyone is doing artifice or sithweaving. I want to pick up one of those two if no one else is. if not I will just pick up what ever it is called when you pick the lock box's and scavaging to help out with supplies if needed.

Soory for the miss spelling am at work and can't be on the pc to long.

Yeah my Vincent'Vega is a commando w/ most points shoved up the healing tree, don't have the instaheal yet but thats only because I threw a few into gunnery (Aim increase, etc)
 
Any one care to make this L26 guy some armor/cybertechstuff?

Any armstechs in the house?

I most likely have all the materials required or can easily get the materials needed.

Republic:
armor = Chust
cyber = Xider
arms = Merad

First two are 400, Merad I dunno but he's L40 so L26 gear should be easy.

Empire, no idea.
