Huh? There are healers at 49, 33, 30, 28, and 25, plus more below that. Almost as many tanks. What's missing is DPS -- I think there are only two DPS characters that aren't alts.

I will be DPS once I get enough levels under my belt.
 
I still can't decide on a class D:

I was sold on a Sith inquisitor, but I'm really loving my Jedi consular and idk if there's a point in having 2 of essentially the same class.

lol the crazy comments were flying from everywhere last night!

I'll be on but not till later at night/early morning. Seems a lot of people play then. It also seems like half the people are mumblers and the other half texters.

forgot me 🙁 But yeah we are good on healers and tanks. But at the same time yme, roc, and i have done a few things and just had roc respec dps and i heal. So least being a "healeR" you can switch it up and dps too
 
So you empire guys will probably be mad but StepUp converted me over to the light side last night lol.

I ended up making a Jedi Guardian and will going for Shadow AC. Toons name is Arika.
 
Whats the server wait time like? This game finally caught my attention and just now looking into it. I been hearing lot of complaining about long waits to get onto many of the servers however.
 
No wait times since launch here. Once the free-loaders left, the waits disappeared. On Shii-Cho anyway, can't say for sure about other servers.

for some reason shii-cho always shows at the top of the server list for me with the guild flag lit even though I have no chars there, and last night it had a 15min queue on it.

Weird, I guess I was logged in most of the day so did not really see the server listings, but I have not seen a queue in several days.

Bioware posted they were working on the queue times. Not sure what their server capacity is. A quick fix I would think would be to raise their capacity level per server but they may already be running near full so hard to say what they can do about it. Anyway I saw a video about the Power Tech Bounty Hunter and it intrigued me. So now I'm looking into the game. Undecided at this point. I'm a shift worker so I'd be playing when most people are working or asleep usually so may not be a problem for me if I do decide to try the game.
 
I am about to start this game (installing now) and will be rolling on your server since I know no one IRL playing. Is there a decent balance between the two sides? In WOW, almost every server I was on, there was a 2:1 ration of alliance:horde, and it was much easier finding a group because of that (although, almost universally, the Horde rolled in PVP). Is there a trend in this game too?

I don't think I've seen a queue since last Friday or so.

Edit: Dammit, jinxed myself. In queue (~10 min ~150 ppl) right now.

I made a commando on Shii-cho but for the past week there's been a 10-15min queue every time I try to log in. That's enough for me to just close the game and start playin something else. Game time is a premium for me atm lol. I hope they alleviate that.

Just go ahead and start the game while you're reading forums or whatever and alt tab out. Once it gets through the queue you can stay on the character screen a pretty long while before it boots you.

Thats exactly what i usually do. log in and then alt tab and check email, get coffee, ect.
