Republic or Empire?
Republic:
armor = Chust
cyber = Xider
arms = Merad

First two are 400, Merad I dunno but he's L40 so L26 gear should be easy.

Empire, no idea.

doh, empire :(

Is anyone else concerned with the long term survivability of this guild besides me? esp. on the empire side?

I am not sure about the Empire side, but on the Republic side we do have a group of regulars that show up every night. However, I am concerned about the lack of an active guildmaster. I can understand that life takes precedence, but not having the guildmaster around for 3 weeks in the first month of a MMO can really take a toll on the group. Already we have our first batch of level 50s (4-5 of them) leave to another guild.

I rarely see more than 2 or 3 people signed in on the empire side. I know a bunch of people quit in the past week.

Why that many people disappeared? Last time I was on and prior to that there was always 6-7 people playing.

I'm actually under the impression now that 6-7 people is really not enough, esp. now that some are L50. I can't even invite grancoda into the same warzone (grancoda being the only other player on at the same times as me)

Well not that it matters at this point, but there's been a lot of requests for invites to our side here, don't think they ever materialized. As a guild we kinda lack organization which isn't helping.

Plus we are a 'laid back' guild so that why I don't think we see too many people on at the same time.

Yeah I haven't been on since Sunday; not for a lack of desire, I love the game, just too damn busy with other things. Hope to be on tomorrow for a bit.

Well honestly IMHO if we want to keep this guild open we're gonna need to start recruiting non-AT members and get these numbers up. I understand the laid back thing because I am a casual player myself, but FFS at least let's get another 10-20 casual players up in this bitch so I have some people to run missions/FP's/WZ's with

I agree, I can't group with most at 25 since half are 10 it seems and the other half near 50. There's a few that are near me but never want to group. I didn't think I smelled that bad :D

I wonder if it's a text/mumble thing? Seems like a division thing 50/50 there too.

I propose we just start spamming invites to anyone who looks cool.

Concur, but where's guild management? Do we need to pull a libya up in this bitch?

There are definitely people I want to recruit Republic-side, but I don't want to pull them in until I know what the leadership/policy is going forward. I like trying to get people to do fun stuff together, but I certainly don't want to be long-term GM or anything.

Anyway, Wednesday's EV run was pretty short because we had people with bedtimes, but we (well, three of us, not sure where our fourth was/is) got through the first boss. Pretty fun -- nothing quite like the chaos of a boss battle slowly turning into orderly execution by a bunch of people.

Hope we can down bosses 2-5 sometime this weekend/week.

He's Republic. Go Libya! :)

I know we basically have 2 guilds, republic and empire, but I know of no polices (empire side) we have in place other then they had to post on anandtech. We were suppose to have a website I thought to better communicate with.

Eh, no, Republic already has and has had members who aren't native here, just connected to other members somehow. But the question is how much recruiting we're going to do of server folks, etc.

I think I'm just restating the importance of having a GM, though in a less worried way.

Well, about half way through level 49. Hopefully we start getting some new members or it's going to get really boring.

***Speaking for the Republic guild only***

I don't think the guild is in danger of collapse or anything. If nothing else it will IMO just be a place for us to hang out with friends.

I *do* think need to decide what direction we want the guild to go in. Do we as a guild want to shoot for running hardmodes and raids? Even if everyone isn't interested in raiding I'm sure we could form an alliance or the like with other guilds with that goal in mind.

Personally, I would like to access all the content in the game. However, you won't see me becoming a hardcore raider anytime soon due to RL constraints and so on. Nor am I planning to push anyone to rush to endgame, since leveling and story is such a large part of the game.

As far as leadership. If we do want to have more of an endgame goal I agree we need more active leadership. I don't mind being involved in leadership, but I simply don't have time to try to fill a GM role. Presumably even if StepUp is totally AWOL the game has some mechanism for me (as the only officer left...) to petition for leadership to be transferred, etc. The main problem is who would take the leadership role? I see no other candidates stepping forward.

There are definitely people I want to recruit Republic-side, but I don't want to pull them in until I know what the leadership/policy is going forward.

Well as the closest thing we have to leadership ATM, this is my policy until you hear otherwise:

*Anyone from AT is welcome. Just post in this thread or mention being from AT when you contact us in game.
*Non-AT members can join, with a reference. Whether you know them IRL, or in-game, either is fine. As long as we don't start having problems from new members, I will keep the "open" policy. Just try to ensure that you don't invite someone unless you've spent enough time with them to at least know that they aren't a total dick.

Contact these people in game for invites:
(Main, [alts...])

Merad, [Merawen, Merawyn, Mernos]
Chust, [Flem, Marbin]
Keija, [Liahna, Kepri]

First off I'd just like to say keija got a call out from a guy in the guild i moved on to :) Said what a wonderful and helpful player he/she is :)

I'm actually under the impression now that 6-7 people is really not enough, esp. now that some are L50. I can't even invite grancoda into the same warzone (grancoda being the only other player on at the same times as me)

As for that I'll just say the guild im in only has ~10 really active members or so. most nights only 2-3 of us are on. During our hardmode raid nights (sat/sun) we'll get the 8 or 9 on at a time. Just for a reference :)

Already we have our first batch of level 50s (4-5 of them) leave to another guild.

Well we all hit 50 at different itmes and just found different roups to play with at our levels. i know roc and yme were playing a lot with Eternal Hostility and i ended up playing with a bunch of the Boosh guys so it just made sense to migrate their way.

All i can add on that is that Boosh has been doing normal modes on tuesday. We dont get the best turn outs. Usually just our main tank/offtank and myself and the other healer. Dps is kind of hit and miss. So if anyone is wanting to come along i could probably get you a spot with us. This week we only ran kraggars palace though with no plans for normal EV. But we did it with 3 pug dpsers and cleared it in about an hour and a half.
