To be honest i have always dreaded hillary, but after listening to the debates i hope she gets the dem nomination for some reason...
I like Ron Paul's ideas but there is no way he would make a good president so McCain ftw and president.

Congrats to Hillary (has she officially won yet?) and McCain btw

Hilary won!!!!!!!

Slogan:
Bill in the Whitehouse for a 3rd term

but WTF? Obama had a 10pt lead in the polls the nite b4.
nowadays, Polls are +/- 3%, so he should have won with at least 7%, not lose by 6%. Hilary gained 13% in 24hrs!?! :Q

Hillary has been called by at least the AP and CNN.
And I think it would be a good campaign between McCain and Clinton.
But I think if Huckabee can get the money he could beat McCain.

McCain used to be "the democrats republican" but that all changed when he got "swiftboated" by his own party and the dems lost all respect for him for not standing up to it. His strong point was always crossover support, and he no longer has it. He will lose a general election.

Charles Gibson said Hillary won due to a large turnout of female voters.

How much of an impact did the Hillary in tears video have on the female turnout?
I guess if she starts to cry more then we?ll know what the focus groups are saying.

As long as juliani, romney, and obama aren't the nominees i'll be happy

Cnn.com shows a two point spread with 80% reporting, to me that just seems way to close to call especialy since the spread was three points at 78% reporting

Hes the only Republican that edges out Hillary in national polls. Up until last week McCain also edged out Obama head to head.

Just based on turn out in Iowa and NH, two maginally blue states that had HUGE, doubling of their dem turnout in '04.

The Republicans are SCREWED one way or another because of turnout. The GOPs only chance is a massive turnout of the Religious Right, and thats only going to happen if Huckabee wins the nomination. Even then it wont be enough for him to win, but it would be enough to minimize Congressional losses.

Its IMHO very scary to think the Dems could have 60 in the Senate, 260 in the House, and the Presidency...

I have not seen even the semi final numbers for all the candidates. Nor news on how Ron Paul did. Or other lesser candidates.

The point being getting the party nod at the convention is all about getting 50% or more of the delegates. And thats hard in a many candidate race so the drama is always in whose gets forced out.

The people who make these types of predictions know which parts of the state have had their vote counted as well as which parts each candidate is doing good in etc.

They tend to be very good at predicting results like this; Florida 2000 is about the only time they really screwed up.

in terms of polling, females were more likely to look at the tears in a negative light whereas more males thought they were authentic.

so that argument seems kinda bogus.

McCain is like 71. And CNN reported he is so arthritic he can't even comb his own hair.

yeah, i realized today that Obama is the first candidate that is in my generation, he is only five years older than me
kind of a freaky feeling when i realized that today

mccain is older than my dad and the rest of them are between my generation and my parents, so they are still "old people" in my head

Can't believe the bitch pulled it off. to NH for for giving her breathing room.

 for NH for reinforcing the point that RP and the Paulbots are nothing but a sideshow circus.

/end puffrant.

The only "incessant whining" I keep hearing is from Hillary herself, and her camp of faithful lovers of all things Clintonian.

PJ was correct... Hillary is a bitch, and she is also entirely fake. Every single thing she says or does is based on polls and the daily political forecast.

If anyone is a "shill" here, it's those who buy into the Clintonian Power Pack that has wrapped its arms around the Democratic Party for the last 16 years.

It's time for a fresh start... and it's time for a candidate with a little bit of integrity. Hillary won't provide either of those things.

bah...

From online results, Sutton county shows 100% of precinct reported with Ron Paul receiving 0 out of around 360 votes. Ron Paul meetup groups are reporting that their family members voted for Ron Paul, theres something wrong here...

And HOW could anyone vote for McCain?
His victory speech reminded of old creepy Tim Hanson giving a speech back in high school.
Which btw, he got a D minus on.
